The machaca tonight was bad the onions were black ,burnt it was sub par I've had it here before ,won't go back ,looked and tasted it was made at 8am which I bought at 7 pm ,sad because last time it was delicious, even the beef was dry and black too

This place used to be good but recently the food has been horrible. I ordered a Cali & a Carne asada burrito, They were so nasty we took 2 bites and threw them away. My kids don't like eating from there anymore. Better choices nearby would be pollo grill or lolitas at sunbow.

It's always a treat to eat here. Obviously not a lot of healthy choices, but they do have some. Caldo de res is one of them. Believe it or not their carne asada burrito is also somewhat healthy.
This is the worst Mexican quality food by far I ever had in San Diego or anywhere in the USA ! The cheese enchiladas taste awful. The cheese is cheap quality , the “green “ sauce tastes like barf . When I tried to call to get a refund back because I took the food to go they said they’ll look into and call me back and I never heard from them. What’s to look into? I don’t want the credit and I had the worst tasting food in my life and worst experience . I had to throw away the food!! Just couldn’t eat it . The manager tried to say I have different tastes buds than others . I’m a qualified sommelier and travel all over the world and lived in California trying different Mexican food places that I love going back to . Not this place , don’t go there ! It’s not even about the money it’s about experiences . Very shocking this place is still in business !!

Been going here for years. They’re really struggling with bad management and poor service. Today was especially bad. Undercooked food. Soda fountain issues. Poor service and staff that was very dismissive. They also have their hands tied because they can’t make it right without manager approval and apparently they called or texted the manager who didn’t bother to answer their calls or call me back during our in restaurant visit. Oddly enough they’re not allowed to give you the managers name so, I’d know who to ask for if calling later. Sounds like Los Panchos is off our list.

My recent experience at Los Panchos Taco Shop was disappointing. I ordered a California Burrito with chicken instead of meat, and it was terrible. The french fries were old and burnt, tasting as if they had been reheated multiple times. While the salsa was good, the portion of chicken in the burrito was incredibly small, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. This visit was a far cry from my previous positive experiences at the restaurant. It was truly a disappointing dining experience.
