Very good Cuban desserts, excellent service! They are better than those at Porto's! Buy even to take to Los Angeles, very pleasant atmosphere. The coffee was magnificent! The owners were very welcoming and very friendly, had my order In a very timely fashion. Super warm and fresh, way better than Porto's. Would definitely and most definitely will be coming back!

I ordered Arroz con polo, on Doodah, worst I've ever had! They just gave me rice with shredded hard stale chicken mixed in, No beans! Just trash, Save your money!

Really welcoming environment! I shared with the person who I ordered from that I was looking everywhere in San Diego for guava flavored foods for a birthday gift and they were kind enough to gift me a guava pasta for my friend to try. Would definitely recommend this place! I got the guava cheesecake and guava strudel! My friend and their family enjoyed it!

This place is so good! I wish I would have found it sooner. Everything on the menu I tried was great, but especially their arroz con pollo and beef potato balls! I will definitely go back and try everything else. Super friendly service! I ordered so many things because I was starving and it was my first time and the lady surprised me with a few pastries to try since she knew how excited I was. Can't wait to go back with my family!

After my first visit to this place, I highly recommend it to those who haven't tried it yet.Parking: The parking structure is big enough and wide enough for anyone to park wherever they want to park and still get to the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Yes, it is very kid-friendly.

The owner was vey sweet and nice as well. All pastries are made from scratch! What can be better than that? Try this place and you won’t regret it!

The food here is always delicious. The baked goods remind me of Portos, and the service is fantastic. What else can I say it's a true hidden gem in Chula, and I live to get the potato balls

I missed Cuban potato balls..especially from Portos, so I decided to research where I could find something similar without having to drive to Buena Park or Glendale! Wow I'm so glad I found this spot.... their potato balls were delicious! Bought a dozen beef potato balls for a birthday potluck party and also brought guava cheese and manago cheese strudel - so crispy and flaky! The owner person upfront took our order, very polite and in a happy mood! The restaurant is small inside with 2 small tables, there is option for sitting outside with more tables. When my large order was ready he step out to bring me my food! Nice guy, great service....delicious food!

The best Cuban Food in SD!!! We stopped at 2 other spots, but were let down. If you want Sazón Cubano, this is it! Let’s see where to start ? we had a lot of food! My wife and I had the Pan Con Lechón and it was outstanding!! My In-Laws had arroz con Pollo and Puerco Asado. We were all picking at each others food and let me tell you, the arroz con pollo asado is out of this world! Such great flavor and so tender! We also had the Papa Rellenas which were delicious and the tamales as well! We had Guayaba pastries for dessert and some Cortaditos to wash everything down! ?? such great coffee! I can truly say that we enjoyed everything and the owners are so nice and welcoming! Great great great job to you and your team! We will definitely be back when we visit SD again! We wish you many many years of success for your business ??❤️ Thank you ☺️Parking: Lots of parking

On a weekend trip to Tijuana my husband and I decided to stop and get food in San Diego before we get on the freeway to head back to Los Angeles. We found the house of Cuban flavor with a quick yelp search and decided to try it. The restaurant itself is in the corner of a shopping mall was relatively empty. The restaurant is tiny and not a lot of room to move, but the food is outrageously delicious. It looks like a little tiny mom and pop restaurant, but Food wise, it's probably better than any large chain food I've had in over a year. we had a pork sandwich, rice salad, and the buns for the pork I believe was fried plantains. The food was incredible! The meat was juicy and succulent, and the flavors were extravagant. They gave us some kind of green sauce that you could basically drink by itself it was so good. If you're ever in San Diego and the Chula Vista area, I promise you, this restaurant with its meat pies, potato balls, empanadas, sandwiches, and other food items is the perfect choice if you want something that taste home-cooked and delicious. This restaurant is a mom and pop, but a VIBE. You will eat well.
