Wanted to try this spot out as we was looking for a new Chinese place in Chula Vista. This is how I rate places: 1 Star : Big mistake, never coming back 2 Star : Decent but won't come back. Don't recommend 3 Star : If we crave this type of food and are in the area, we will most likely eat here. 4 Star : Gonna come back and recommend. Would drive if within 15-20 min away 5 Star : Will drive out 30+ min to this spot. Would recommend to friends. Will visit once a month Back to this Chinese spot. Not coming back. All good was edible but lacked any flavor. Orange chicken. Bland. No flavor, literally the Costco orange chicken is way better. 2 stars Fried Rice. This was probably the best out of all the plates we ordered BUT still lacked much flavor, I would stay maybe 3 stars. Compared to the Chinese spot next to the college, this place is lacking taste Sweat & Sour Chicken. Looked promising but still bland. Not sure if they ran out of seasoning or what. The Sushi House off telegraph has better Sweat & Sour chicken . 2 stars Chicken and Broccoli. It's hard to screw this one up. But yet, this place still made it bland. But maybe 2.5 stars. Overall, will not come back and don't recommend. The search continues for a new Chinese spot.

I've been a loyal customer of Mandarin Beijing for quite some time now, and I have to say, they never disappoint! The food quality is consistently excellent, which keeps me coming back time and time again. The customer service is top-notch as well. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food. The salt pepper wings are an absolute must-try! They're crispy, flavorful, and addictively delicious. It's my go-to appetizer every time I visit. Recently, I decided to venture out of my comfort zone and try the mabo tofu, and I'm so glad I did! It was out of this world--spicy, savory, and packed with flavor. I've decided that it's going to be a regular order for me from now on. And if that's not enough, my wife absolutely loves the eggplant dish here. It's cooked to perfection and always leaves her satisfied.

My family and I love this place. Excellent service every time (the owner? guy who always at the register - knows and recognizes my husband every time he comes in to pick up at this point) and salt and pepper chicken wings are always fire! My two little boys also love the cream cheese wontons, and you really can't go wrong with anything you order from here. We've dined in and have taken to-go orders multiple times over the last couple years and we've never been disappointed. They've catered my 1-year-old's birthday party and were a huge hit, and we always change up our order because they have an extensive menu with a lot to offer. The salt and pepper shrimp is so, so good (this is actually my favorite) because they offer it de-shelled, and unlike some other places, they don't skimp out on the shrimp and fill the party tray with lettuce on the bottom to make it look like they gave you more. So we love this place, we are repeat customers, and will be as long as they stay open!

Service here is crazy fast. The food comes out within 10-15 minutes. Also would highly HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the Salted Pepper Chicken Wings. I honestly think these are the best ones I've ever had anywhere in all of San Diego and Los Angeles. If you call in they will have it ready in no time and they also do part trays! These wings are absolutely to die for so please take it upon yourself to try them!
