25 min waiting for a coffee that I order on the drive thru, didn't have coffee ready, ask me to wait on #2 after 25 min i walk in and she forgot about me ... horrible customer service 😑

I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment with the disgraceful service I received at your McDonald’s location at 725 E Street in Chula Vista on the evening of July 16, 2025, at approximately 8:40 p.m.

I placed my order in the drive-thru and was told to pull forward to wait for my food, which supposedly needed “a few minutes.” I waited patiently — for over 15 minutes — while multiple cars behind me were served and left. After that excessive and unacceptable wait, I finally went inside to inquire about my order.

What I encountered inside was nothing short of outrageous. The staff had no idea what my order was, and instead of offering an apology or showing any concern, they threw out excuse after excuse and even had the audacity to accuse me of lying about how long I had been waiting. The tone, the attitude, and the lack of professionalism from your employees were absolutely disgusting.

After 25 minutes, I finally received my food — cold and carelessly put together. To make matters worse, during this frustrating ordeal, my daughter urgently needed to use the restroom, and when I asked for the key, I was told that the bathrooms were “broken.” Convenient, isn’t it?

Your staff insisted they were “understaffed,” yet I counted at least five employees standing around, laughing and chatting — clearly not overwhelmed or overworked, just indifferent. They had plenty of time to argue with me but not enough time to do their jobs.

No apology. No accountability. No basic customer service. Just rudeness, delays, and disrespect.

This was by far one of the worst fast food experiences I’ve ever had, and I have no intention of returning to this location. If this is the standard McDonald’s is operating under, it’s shameful.

I expect a response and would hope, at the very least, that you address this situation and hold your team accountable. People deserve better than this.

They forgot my order and the wait time was long and the breakfast deluxe was alright nothing too good . The tables were unclean and dirty and the floor had a lot of trash. Ronald McDonald would be disappointed 😔

This place is dirty I saw a employee drop a sauce on the ground and then put it back in the sauce tray also picked up trash and not even washed his hands and proceeded to grab drinks to give to customers as well as serving French fries to customers also customers coming from ordering from the drive thru returning their orders cause it was the wrong order also waited for about 20 mins for my food which it wasn’t right at all and as I told the manager he gave this dirty look to me cause I told him something about the things going on honestly if I can give them a 0 stars I would I’m never going to that McDonalds again and they wanna get paid 20 + dollars a hour they are crazy for that kind of service they need to reorganize their team with better employees

After looking seeing the ratings here. I can see why it's so low. I placed my order through the kiosk and stood at the counter waiting for assistance. A customer who already had her order requested something from the Supervisor or Manager who was closest to the counter, even though she had seen me standing there. The Manager assisted her before me. So, I stood waiting to pay for my order. She had me just waiting as continued to do what she was doing. There were other staff there that could've help me. But I must have the power of being invisible. Maybe it's because the lady she helped before me was also the same race as her. I don't know! But I didn't like how I was ignored. Do better McDonald's!!!

I ordered a medium size meal and used my points for a large fry. They gave me a medium fry and a small fry. They do not honor your points here so I’d go somewhere else. It clearly said large fry on my receipt and they gave me a small.
