Our server was top notch. Very kind, professional and Helped bring plates and forks for a birthday cake. Food came out fast and was delicious. Our larger party had a wonderful time.
Food was okey, customer service it was good, is just I feel they were rushing us, we were celebrating a birthday.
Novo's food and service are excellent. Very fast and the service is very responsive and friendly. Great place for a big group and to watch your favorite game!
Disappointed! Service was awful! The food was extremely cold and pretty poor. The server disappeared. The owner is awesome and needs to hire a new manager and entire staff!
Kind of disappointing experience as my wife and I loved the food/vibe in the Mission Valley location. Came here for lunch today and our burrito was very cold as if it was sitting in the fridge for a while, the drink was pretty watered down & the wings were okay but pretty warm. Don’t think we’d come back. 5.2/10
Novo has exceptional and outstanding service. One of the best breweries in town. The food is excellent and always up to standard. I highly recommended and hope you enjoyed it as much as we do.
This place is absolutely fxin horrible. I couldn't get service at all. I was completely ignored and disrespected. I left when they took off the texas game. Thank you for telling me you don't want my business.
I love both locations of Novo. This one has great food and fun play area for friends... BUT the last two times I went, two different waitress "forgot" to mention tip was included on my bill. They do NOT hand you a receipt, they just hand you the credit card machine with the highest tip "highlighted." The first time it happened, as I was checking out my gf yelled for me to stop, and asked if tip was included. (Because It had happened to her the time before!!!). Anytime gratuity is included and an itemized receipt is not offered to the customer, the waitress SHOULD DISCLOSE THAT.
Honestly, it's super shady and has made me stop coming to this location all together. The service staff has been overall rude as well... Which is weird because they keep getting a 50% tip from our family 🙄
Food is decent, but the service is generally terrible. Went there during off peak time and still had to wait 10 minutes for a server to come over.
I've always enjoyed NOVO Brazil's kombucha variety, which is why I was excited to visit their Otay Ranch location for the first time. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to my expectations. The service was notably slow. I ordered a kombucha flight, but it took nearly an hour to arrive. The food was okay, but not memorable. We were there for a while watching a Padres game, which gave us a chance to see the service over an extended period, and sadly, it wasn't great. I hope they can improve the service in the future, as the kombucha itself is excellent.

Biggest game day tvs in town and pricey drinks. Dog friendly could go for a water filter change. The tap water they have tastes like is come from the bathroom faucets. New bathroom remodel covered up all the all damage.
Love love love this place! Been going here for years and the staff is so friendly and attentive, Julio is always so nice to our table and takes care of whatever needs we ask for, I am so appreciate of him. The atmosphere is great and it’s always a good vibe!
Service members are not friendly at this location, seems like waiters, supervisors and management need extensive customer service training. I asked to speak to a supervisor due to a waiter’s rude behavior and noticed that the supervisor was rude herself. Novo Brazil in Fenton st has much better service.
Last night's experience was extremely unpleasant. Walked in with a party of 11 for dinner. We were greeted nicely by the staff who quickly set up a table to accommodate our large party. We promptly began to order drinks and food around the table. One person in our party didn't have an ID, and we were told she couldn't be served alcohol. This was no issue to us since we were there to have a quick dinner and head home. As the drinks were being served, we noticed one of the staff members watching our table intensely. A short woman, semi heavy set, light skinned, bleached hair, exposed roots, with tattoos on her left arm, from what I could see. We later found out her name was Sandy, the manager or a manager. She repeatedly kept sending the waiters to check our IDs over and over. "May I see your ID again? My manager asked me to verify it" was the excuse we received. Granted, this was after the alcohol was served. This was extremely annoying, irritating, and uncomfortable. All the time, she kept watching us from the bar or her office. If we called a waiter over, she would intercept them first, pull them into the office, and send them our way. We felt targeted and definitely not welcomed during this visit. It's safe to say that we won't be back as we refuse to patronize an establishment that hires individuals like Sandy. I'm also unsure if serving alcohol before verifying ID is an ABC violation. Can someone weigh in? It's something I'm looking into tomorrow.
Stopped by the Otay location and was happy I did. I tried a couple of their beers, I usually have their kambutcha but wanted something different. Hiram served me and suggested the Prime Sirloin Con Fritas. Excellent choice! Really tasty and enjoyed it all. Thx Hiram and keep up the great service
