Everything was very yummy. We’ve tried many Teppanyaki places and this one is definitely in my top 3 now. Oscar our waiter was very kind :)

The food and experience were extremely good. We stumbled into this place by accident and we will be coming back for sure. Also service was top notch, our server Oscar was very likeable.

Started off with the soup and salad and it took me back to Japan. Generous portion of salad dressing was a bonus. The teppan show was great! Chef was interactive and funny. Food had flavor and tasted great. Steak was cooked medium as requested and lobster was not overcooked. Overall a great place especially when the price was right. Also received a birthday ice cream dessert afterwards.

Everything was very good. The soup had garlic flavor. The ginger dressing on the salad was amazing. The hibachi dinner and entertainment was fantastic!

This is the BEST hibachi restaurant in the San Diego area. Everything is clean and new, the staff is friendly, the portions are generous, and the food is consistently amazing. We are longtime customers and will continue to be!

The food was good, it's not cheap but you get a lot. Service was top notch! Oscar was our main server and was excellent! Our chef was a lot of fun too (I don't know his name). We will definitely go back!

We were on vacation visiting this area and a local friend suggested trying out this newly opened restaurant. What a gem it is! Everybody at my table was blown away by how delicious the food was and our teppanyaki chef Jacky was fantastic. We went there for dinner, but were treated with dinner and a show. I highly recommend that if you are in the area to go check out this spot. A+++

Ok so here is my verdict:
I would definitely come back
Pros:
No wait, food came out quick , Chicken had a lot of flavor and so did the shrimp. For the first time in my life I ate the noodles, would eat the noodles again. Plenty of parking
Cons:
Rice was a little bland needed more flavor

Family owned place better than franchise hibachi restaurants!
Waiter was super friendly and attentive; granted there was only 1 other party there and then another family came halfway through our meal.
Place is clean; chef is interactive and makes it more interactive depending on the crowd.
They give you noodles and rice, choose your meat, they have some alcoholic beverages too. Starters is soup and salad per usual. Can’t go wrong with this place !

I love teppanyaki and I was so excited for this place to open up. I was skeptical at first thinking that the restaurant would be too small because in my mind the previous business Rubios seemed a bit tight but I was pleasantly surprised. I think they had 5 or 6 grills that each sat 10 people so I definitely think they could do well business wise if they stay popular. I will say that the only negative thing is the decor. It’s very plain and they even left a lot of the Rubios decor which is a bit culturally confusing as you can imagine. But the food tasted great and our chef was amazing, skilled, and super funny! Did a few things I haven’t seen at any other teppanyaki. Let’s just say I’m not good at catching food thrown at me with my mouth 🤣 and look out if you’re in the splash zone 😳 But me and my family loved it overall and will definitely be regular customers as we live just across the street. Well done Okayama!

Great restaurant with delicious food and a welcoming staff. Everyone was helpful, and they were willing to answer my questions and explain things clearly, which I really appreciated. The chef was excellent too—super skilled and entertaining. Overall, it was a great experience and a good night!

This place is absolutely wonderful! Staff were very friendly and attentive to our party. We were lucky to enough to beat the rush hour of hungry people and were seated immediately. Chefs are very friendly, entertaining, enthusiastic and interact with guests! The food was amazing! We got the dinner for two which comes with steak, shrimp and chicken and upgraded to fried rice. All of our food was cooked perfectly. The chicken was cooked is some delicious sauce. We ended up getting dessert and turns out it’s three scoops of ice cream for one order so one order is perfect for two people to share. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great food, service and atmosphere.

I visited this restaurant a couple days ago and now it’s my favorite hibachi restaurant. The chef was spectacular and made us laugh a lot. The server we had was Oscar and he did an amazing job and was very nice, he even asked us what language we felt more comfortable with since he heard us speaking Spanish and turns out he’s bilingual. The overall experience was top notch even though I would recommend not seasoning.

Dinner here turned into a memorable experience from start to finish. The filet mignon paired with shrimp was rich in flavor and cooked perfectly with incredibly tender meat. Chef Mike added a personal touch that made my son’s birthday celebration feel truly special. We left happy and already looking forward to coming back again.
