Papagayos Grill and Cantina

Super disappointed with this experience. Tonight was My Son’s 22nd birthday and we came In and there was about 10 of us which they were able to accommodate. The server acted as if it was a problem that we needed her or any type of assistance, I think that because they add the 18% gratuity, they don’t think they have to do great service because they’re getting the tip anyway. We had to ask for refills and I had to ask another server for the bill. The food was OK. I think that they easily get away with this type of behavior because the area that they are in, If somebody was coming in and spending 250 I would be one of the best servers you could imagine. We won’t be returning.

I want to commend Andres the manager who was there this past Saturday. Me and my friend got there by 900 p.m. and most tables were reserved. We did find a table, but I asked Andres to please let us know when there was a table closer to the stage. Andres provided Excellent Customer Service I want to thank you again!

Custom ordered. A simple fish sandwich, ended up being the best fish sandwich I ever had. Custom made jalapeno tartar sauce. Super happy with the entire experience, staff above and beyond, excellent in every way. Made me feel like royalty!

We're working near this restaurant, and the food we ordered was all salty. For the second time, carne asada burrito and birria. 👎👎👎

It was ok, the service was decent but the food was a little disappointing for Mexican cuisine in San Diego. My wife’s quesadilla was good but my carnitas tacos were tougher than leather, like they overcooked them the day before and then microwaved them for me. And the prices are very high, paid over $8 for a draft Modelo, there’s too many better options out here for Mexican food.
