I ordered rare steak pho and beef spring rolls. This is my regular order when I get pho. I am trying new places in Chula Vista so I don't have to drive far for my favorites. The pho was just okay, maybe a little better than microwaveable pho lol. The spring rolls were the most disgusting thing ever. The beef was a mushy ground beef formed patty thing, with a sour taste. Also they served it with Italian dressing.... If you like pho don't come here.

Good food, great service. Nice big restaurant with lots of tables/seating. We stopped in after one of our morning soccer games at Southwestern College. I had the veggie pho as it was during lent. The broth was very flavorful. My daughter and husband said the garlic wings and regular pho were delicious as well. The menu is pretty extensive, so I'm sure there's something for everyone if you're not in the mood for soup. It's in a big plaza, so there's plenty of parking.

By far some of the best pho I have had in San Diego. Everything about this place is amazing from the pho to the chicken wings, to the fish. Definitely a family owned gem in the middle of suburban sprawl. If you live in Eastlake, you need to eat here!

Expectation vs reality Crispy fish sandwich so disappointing considering the price. I tried to question why my portion was so small compared to the picture but the lady said they just cut it up that's why it looked smaller.

I've had the Bun Bo Hue and the Satay Pho several times, and it's always been great. I usually get around 8 and it's the perfect level of spicy for me. The regular pho is also great, but I really like the special offerings here.

Love their broken rice and crispy sole fish. Just sad that they are not open everyday like before. Seems like whenever I'm in town it's closed. I just need to plan better but otherwise the food is amazing.

I ordered Bun Bo Hue, and it was delicious. There was a spice level available from 1-10. The amount of beef was a lot more than other pho restaurants I've been to before. However it has only slices of beef, and not a lot of beef balls or tendons. I only had 2 quarter size beef balls and 2 small pieces of tendons. It was by no means bad, since most people would like the well done steak, but there was not much in beef balls. There are only those three beef ingredients, whereas some other places offer the shank and knuckle. Personal bias, but this restaurant delivered what I wanted. Thank you.

At first glance I thought that I hit the jackpot with Pho Convoy Noodle House. The menu had some authentic listings and I saw they had my favorite tri-colored dessert drink. The prices weren't too high for the neighborhood and I will never turn down a good bowl of pho. However from the moment I stepped through the front door the whole experience went downhill from there. The wait staff were all sitting eating their lunch instead of tending to me, a customer who had just walked in the front door and was standing there waiting to be sat down for what seemed like an eternity. Finally a young girl pops out from the kitchen, her head down, fiddling with something behind the counter. One of the ladies who was eating her lunch waved at the young girl to attend to me.I sit. I review my menu and after 15 or so minutes they came and took my order. Mind you, it was a little after lunch hour and the place was almost empty. When the food came, everything looked great but the flavors were all off. The portion size was decent but the pho broth had none of the aromatic flavors you would expect from this iconic Vietnamese staple. I finished my food and started on my tri-color dessert drink. While the appearance of the dessert was spot on, they used half and half instead of coconut milk which is kind of like a tiramisu with no coffee or a German chocolate cake without the coconut-pecan frostingWhat a huge let down across the board. As my friend put it " what a waste of calories!" As a meal, it was passable. I got fed. I got some carbohydrates and some proteins. And I didn't get sick afterwards. But I was far from being satisfied. Save yourself the disappointment and find pho elsewhere.

Delish! The menu is varied with a numerous list. Food preparation is fast and neat. The hostess and server are polite. Dining area is clean. The face of the restaurant isn’t much to look at, but inside it is quaint and spacious.Their spicy dishes will make you sweat. ?I will be returning with my whole crew yar!!!
