The restaurant is in a beautiful building in the center of the village. Near the koi pond. We were a party of 8 during peek hours for dinner. We didn't have to wait long no more than 10 minutes for our table. The decor is beautiful and calming. A big water fountain wall right as you enter. The staff is very friendly and welcoming! I tried the vermicelli noodle bowl with beef. The variety of authentic flavors are good! I had asked for the egg rolls to come on top of the bowl sliced up but it was not a good idea. The egg rolls were soggy. Other than that it was a very good meal everyone was very pleased with their meal. Huge shared parking lot out front with lots of movement. Good place for Vietnamese food!

I’ve been taking friends and family to the CV locations since they opened (a few hundred visits over maybe 20 yrs?) and ordered takeout at least a few dozen times. Over that time we’ve had a handful of waiters with some language/culture barriers, and occasional short staffing/quality issues since the pandemic but overall, it’s been one of our go to places to eat where it’s comfortable, convenient, affordable, pleasant, delicious and satisfying.Dietary restrictions: I’m not sure there are any vegan dishes but there is a fair selection of nice vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: I’ve been bringing the kids since birth. They are now teenagers and they still ask to eat at his place.

The pho is delicious. I had a steak and shrimp plate that was unforgettable. You can customize your pho if they don't have a combo you want. I do lean and fatty brisket with rice instead of noodles. This is one of my favorite pho spots.

We did not have the best waiter. The menu is better in the telegraph canyon location.

The broth here is really boring. There is zero lemongrass you, won't taste any star anise, nothing. Everything else that we got that was not soup was good. The service is sad and impersonal. I would come back but I would not get the pho. Also there was so much food packed into such a tiny bowl that I couldn't really mix it up very well and it was hard to eat without spilling broth. So then you got to drink this boring broth just to eat your food.

Internet claimed menu had Bahn mi on menu. When I arrived after a 20 min trek here, I asked waiter if they had it. He said (rudely) No. And walked away. Didn't offer anything else, drink , nothing. Avoided this place and it's rude staff at all cost. If I could give zero stars I would.

FIRST TIME HERE! I came here with some friends who have been here previously. As I walked in, I noticed the overall restaurant looked great with lovely modern decor including this waterfall decor, lighting, and paintings. Also, the hostess was friendly, immediately greeted us and sat us down at the table. Our server was alright, didn't greet us and instead immediately asked if we were ready to order. However, he did check in on us a couple of times and refilled our waters which was great. He informed us that a few things on the menu was out which was no problem as there were many options on their menu to choose from (we came around 6:30pm and not sure if they ran out for the day). I ordered the small size of pho with beef slices (tai) and meatballs (bo vien). It was quite tasty - what pho typically would taste like. Despite the small size being packed with noodles and meat, I personally thought it was quite expensive ($15) for a small size. I also ordered the limeade which was refreshing, however, it tasted like it was watered down (I didn't mind it). Overall, not so bad experience - ambience was great, friendly staff, and pretty good food.

Pho Dac Biet was super super good. The broth was flavorful and at the perfect temperature. The meat was not too fatty which is very appreciated especially during this '80% Fat Meat' era. The staff were attentive. Atmosphere reminds me of the Pho Hiep down in Telegraph a bit. Will definitely come back after today's experience!!
