I drove down from Mira Mesa to chula vista to place my order.
I asked for cajun chicken pasta, shrimp alfredo, dozen biscuits and extra sauce.
My receipt, shows shrimp alfredo, dozen biscuits, and extra sauce.
I received chicken pasta with no spice, extra alfredo sauce, and a dozen biscuits.
The cajun chicken pasta had ginger, chicken(no spice) and alfredo sauce. No salt in it or anything else. Biscuits still taste amazing, alfredo sauce was ok.
Wish the food was better. It just wasn't as good as before.

First time here in years. The seafood boil was great, along with all the starters and drinks we ordered. Spent about $150 for two. Red Lobster will see me again!

The manager Walter and our waiter were really nice. My wife didnât like what she ordered but they were a big help they replaced her meal and gave us a coupon for next time. The staff is amazing and the food was great definitely will come again.

To whom it may concern,
Iâm writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the experience my family and I had at your location recently. We arrived at 7:00 PM with a reservation for a party of 10, prepared to celebrate a very special occasion â my daughterâs 10th birthday. From the moment we arrived, the experience began to unravel in a way that was both upsetting and unexpected, especially considering the years weâve spent visiting and enjoying meals at this location.
Upon checking in, we were informed that the wait time for our table would be approximately one hour. While not ideal, we understood and patiently waited. I observed families of 6-7 check in after me and being sat before me. After a full hour had passed, I returned to the host stand to check in on the status of our table. The host informed me that the table was still not ready but that she would speak with a manager and get back to me. I stood nearby and waited another 10 minutes before she finally returned to the desk, and when she did, she said nothing â no update, no explanation.
Shortly after, a manager approached, pointed at me, and asked if I was with the party of 10. I confirmed, and he responded by saying it would be another 15 minutes. I expressed that we had already waited over an hour, but his response was dismissive â he told me that âtypically itâs an hour and a half anyway,â and that we could wait the extra time. There was no apology, no ownership of the situation, and no acknowledgment of the inconvenience or lack of communication we had experienced so far.
At that point, we had already invested our evening into this celebration and didnât want to disappoint my daughter, so we waited another 15 minutes. When we were finally seated, we were led to a table that had been visibly empty since we arrived â the same table we could have been seated at from the beginning. This added to our frustration, as it made the wait feel even more unnecessary and mismanaged.
Unfortunately, the disappointing service didnât end there. As mentioned, this dinner was for my daughterâs birthday â her 10th, no less. In past visits, the staff has always made the effort to acknowledge her birthday by singing or at least offering a cheerful gesture. This time, there was no such acknowledgment. She was brought a sundae that was already half melted by the time it reached the table, which only added to the overall sense of neglect and carelessness.
Weâve been loyal customers for years, and this restaurant has always been one of my daughterâs favorite places to eat. What should have been a joyful and memorable birthday dinner turned into a frustrating and disappointing evening, marred by poor communication, disorganization, and a noticeable lack of care from the staff and management.

Do yourself a favor and choose another location. The service here is horrible. And Iâm pretty sure my server pocketed $60 cash I put towards the bill. Because when we got the receipt back it had all these adjustments on it, showing half our $140 bill was only $69. Crazy. Slow service. They donât mention that their main advertisements arenât even available, until you order! Come on. Iâll never spend a penny at this establishment again.

Our food was almost 3 hours before we ate and when we got it, it was cold. The shrimp and lobster were rubbery. I normally like Red Lobster but on my birthday, it wasn't the best.

We dined here on 6/21/25 and the foodbwas amazing. Crab legs were full of meat and tasty. We decided to go again on 7/4/25 and it wasn't the same. The crab legs were much smaller and some were even Hollow contanting little to no meat. My 9 year old son's lobster tail was way under cooked on the bottom side and unfortunately we didn't know until he said something. The manager didn't once come by to speak to us. We ended up having to request him. He then pretty much blamed us for not asking for him sooner. At the end of the day this visit was disappointing for the money we spent. Our server Bella was nice and understanding. Consistency is very important and because of this visit and the quality of the food we will be reluctant to return.
