**As a reply to Rubios response here. What the food made as it should? Does the salsa not actually have flavor? I would not give this place or ANY Rubios a try, ever again. Just absolutely crap food. This is San Diego, no shortage of Mexican food around.**

The smallest burritos I have had, very little flavor. My son ate his and asked my half mine.

The salsa is flavorless, the one labeled spicy is basically chunky ketchup. I'm a white guy, where is the spice or flavor?? I'd have been happier with Cholula.

The chips were about the only thing that was as expected.

The lemons were super slimy and cut up randomly. The limes were very dry and the green peel had turned yellow where cut. So both are definitely days old from being cut. 🤢

$30 for 2 burritos, small portions, no flavor, and salsa without flavor.

100% will not be back and regret stopping in today.

I checked and the mild salsa wasn't switched with the 'spicy'.

The place was dingy and could use a deep cleaning. I wonder what the kitchen looks like??

I visit several different Rubio's throughout SD for lunch, and every time I come here the food is no where near as good or fresh and they really skimp on the chicken and the dressing. I always ask for an extra side and literally the two could fill up one. I pay extra for nothing. I bring it to the attention of the staff and they fix it, which is great. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I understand portions are smaller everywhere, but this location is considerably smaller than the other locations. It is almost like they take a nugget sized piece of chicken and add it to your salad ?

Way Over priced for what you get. Small tacos, not even a handful of chips in the meals and a very small serving of rice and beans.. The kids quesadilla have gotten smaller. We still come here because it's close to the house and we tell ourselves it's a bit healthier than fast food burgers...who knows.

She fixed the problem with pushback ans inform we d to me next time ask for it undercooked. I told her I@usually enjoy the fries here but this isn't the correct temp. It'sovercooked. I'm afraid if I ask for less cooked it'll be raw still. Well everything is fresh ans I like that

This location probably has the slowest cooks out of all the other rubios in SD. Took forever for a single shrimp taco. The lead Anna was great though. She was taking orders and running food all by herself and still had a positive attitude and amazing smile.
