Family run. All freshly made to order. Crispiest pork belly ever. House sauce is vinegar and sweet. Gravy was spot on. Clean little place.

I went during my lunch hour around 1:30 there was only one person ahead of me. This was my first time, I ordered lumpia and punsit. I was expecting to be in and out like 5 minutes. I was there for 15 minutes for food to be ready. I drove back to work and my lumpia was still crispy and hot, very good. Just took longer than expected. I would go back.

Food was pretty average nothing too special. Lechon kawali was not what I had expected. Chicken inasal was ok. Tapsilog was good it looked like a lot but that’s because it’s in smaller pieces. Garlic rice tasted a little bland. The pancit I actually enjoyed and was a lot for the price. This place is not bad for people who generally don’t eat Filipino food often.

Hidden little spot. The inside is nicely designed and clean. Lechon Kawali, Bangus, and garlic fried rice are all a great value when compared to the price. Overall, we enjoyed it and will likely be returning at some point.

Worst place , my family and I was super disappointed , I recommend this restaurant to celebrate my bday hoping that we will be satisfied but we waited 1 hr and 40 minutes for our food. My sister’s coffee was not even hot and has a coffee grind at the bottom. My brother in law order a soda it was not even cold , I wish that they offered him a glass of ice . It took 45 minutes to gave us glass of water , I was happy I had a chocolate bar in my pocket to shared with my family while waiting for our order. Karekare was dry they didn’t serve with “Bagoong , no sauce the bottom part of the rice was saggy, the tapsilog (beef) has a weird smell. The spring rolls they serve no sauce at all . The beef caldereta was dry . I’m not stopping you to visit the restaurant I’am only sharing my experience. They have only one server for a busy day☹️??

Small and seems family run. Yummy food. It's cute, clean and casual inside. We got there around 4 pm and they were out of lumpia so get there earlier than later in the day if you want to snag some. They were so apologetic--it was sweet. I'll definitely circle back for some.

So happy we found this spot! The delicious menu, the home made sauces, nothing out of a plastic jug here ! We had beef pares, lechon, and half order of pancit. Barely spoke while we ate ? we also had a visit with the owner/chef, who is internationally trained and it shows! We will come back soon!

The food was delicious. We ordered the Lechon Kawali, Fried Bangus and for dessert, Buko Pandan. The Lechon Kawali was crispy, served on a bed of garlic rice, a side of dipping sauce and atchatsa (pickled cinkama, carrots and tomatoes). The Bangus was fried and sat on a bed of garlic rice as well. They topped the dish off with an egg, fried over easy. The buko pandan is a pudding like dessert made with baby coconut slices, jello squares and milk. The owner recommends calling in your order ahead of time since it gets busy. Everything was delicious! Sandok is open Wednesdays through Sundays from 11am to 6pm (Closed Mondays and Tuesdays). They are tucked away at the end of a small strip mall next to a small shoe repair shop off Broadway and Palomar in west Chula Vista
