Shout out to person at the window, didn’t get their name (glasses braids), I know it gets pretty hectic, but she was super friendly and personable in the short amount of time. Honestly was having a little rough day and her kind words made it better.

I had to leave a review because my daughter and I are still talking about how wonderful our experience was. Julie and Kayla were working the window, and they absolutely made our day.
From the second we pulled up, they were so warm, funny, and genuinely kind. Julie mentioned it was her first day as a shift, and you would have never known it, she was confident, friendly, and clearly supported. Kayla was incredibly accommodating and made everything feel easy and welcoming. You could tell they worked so well together, and their energy was just rad.
I’m a science teacher and i came to them with a gift card and i was talking about how as a science teacher i usually never really get gift cards like elementary teachers do. They made me feel genuinely special, not rushed or just another customer. Honestly, we didn’t even want to leave the window, we were having such a good time that we joked about coming inside the café just to keep talking to them. My daughter felt the same way and was smiling the whole time.
Kayla and Julie were truly the highlight of our day, and they turned a simple stop into a moment we won’t forget. My daughter and I both loved them. Give these two all the praise because they are doing something right.
I even ended up taking a couple pictures of them and they took pictures of us!!! Highlight of me and my daughter’s day. Kayla and her even exchanged numbers

Not sure what was going on with Kaitlin at the drive through, but the attitude was unreal. No greeting and no basic manners. Just straight up annoyance like my order was a personal inconvenience. When I tried to clarify something, she responded with a dismissive tone and cut me off mid sentence. If being asked to do your job is that frustrating, maybe customer service is not the right fit. I come to Starbucks for coffee not to feel like I am bothering someone. Definitely left a bad taste and not just from the drink. On the other hand another barista with black curly hair didn’t get the name was actually kind and polite and made the experience somewhat better so will give credit where it’s due.

I usually don’t have the best experience at this starbucks just due to how it is constantly busy but yesterday I had such a delightful experience because of how friendly and charming the baristas I spoke to were Mairin and Kayla talked to me through the drive through window and kept me entertained and laughing and made the elongated wait time feel like nothing. I could also hear mairin talking to other baristas getting them to finish my drinks faster which meant a lot. Two rays of sunshine and I hope that starbucks continues to hire baristas with that energy. Will be back just because of the excellent service. Kudos to those two beautiful hardworking women!!!! Only bad thing to say is how difficult the turnabout it into the drive through.

Service is always pretty great but the atmosphere in the morning with other people blocking you from even getting out of your parking spot or otherwise being obnoxious drivers is just a lot to deal with in the morning when you're trying to get coffee

The worst starbucks ever . Wish i could give it 0 reviews. Service is horrible . Front lady named Matea sucks at her job . Didn’t let me use my points for a bakery item because apparently it’s 200 points is needed when it says on the app 100 points can be used for bakery item. Also messed up my sisters drink and complained about remaking it . Please get better staff . Sofia was super sweet though loved her give her a 10/10

I had the best experience at this Starbucks today! Even though there was a long line which is expected for the holidays, the person taking orders was incredibly kind and patient. At the speaker around 930 a.m., LJ thanked me for waiting and made ordering so pleasant, even when I learned my favorite breakfast pastry was unavailable.
When I pulled up to the window, LJ was just as warm and friendly. He thanked me again for waiting, asked how I was doing, and made the transaction so smooth that I completely forgot about the delay. He even added a small touch that genuinely made my day.
I’m willing to drive to this location even though I have another Starbucks right across the street from my house.
Thank you, LJ! I hope Starbucks continues hiring team members with such exceptional customer service!

I usually don't like write negative reviews, but I feel that the bad experiences during numerous at this Starbucks location warrants leaving a review. I usually try to give the benefit of the doubt and consider factors such as how busy it can get during a morning rush, but there have been multiple issues every single visit, with the only consistency being the non-existent customer service and constantly getting the orders wrong. Recently, I found a hair in the cheese of a breakfast sandwich and just today, my husband was picking up two food items for an online order and had experienced his own bad encounter. He waited for awhile for the online store pickup to realize that he was being ignored when he saw that another gentleman that had come in after him be acknowledged first. Additionally, the Sriracha packet was missing from my order. The lack of professionalism of every barista we have encountered is appalling and unacceptable, which must be attributed to management. At this point, I'd rather go to the Paris Baguette, McDonalds, or Vons down the street for to-go coffee than this Starbucks location.

I used the app to Order pick up in the store but they won’t let me in, they told us to go through the drive-thru. It says they are open at 4:30 am but I got there almost 5 am.

Truly poor customer service. I felt the baristas have a rude attitude. Ive been here 3 times and 2 times theyve messed up my order. When I point it out I feel the snarkiness towards me. Its just an uncomfortable environment & I dont feel valued as a customer. Plus the lines always long and slow with a small parking lot. Always gets congested.

i visited the cafe at 1610 millenia ave in chula vista with my boyfriend because we wanted a calm place to study. as a customer my interaction with the manager diego was not bad. he was polite when i asked a question about the menu and he was not rude to me personally. from a customer point of view he seemed fine.
however while we were studying the atmosphere behind the counter felt uncomfortable. we could hear the manager speaking to the baristas and the tone sounded tense and sharp. the baristas looked stressed and uncomfortable, almost like they were nervous about every little thing. their body language seemed tight and anxious and it was hard not to notice because the cafe was fairly quiet. even though he was respectful to me, the way he talked to his employees changed the whole mood of the place and made it hard to relax.
after the visit i went online to customer support to share my concern. the representative i spoke with was named sirisha. i told her that my interaction with the manager was fine but that the baristas seemed uncomfortable and i wanted to share that feedback with the district manager. instead of helping or trying to understand the situation it felt like she brushed me off and did not really care. i repeatedly asked to contact the district manager and nothing helpful was given. it made me wonder how much starbucks actually cares about the way employees are treated and how the atmosphere of a store affects customers.
overall diego was polite to me, but the energy in the store was tense and the baristas looked stressed. i tried to give feedback through customer support and was disappointed with the response. a cafe should feel welcoming for both employees and customers, and i hope someone actually listens to concerns like this in the future.

Just left a few minutes ago. I mobile Ordered my drink so I could just pick it up in the drive through. My drink was not supposed to have whip cream in it. But when she handed it to me it was filled with whip crème. Not a problem it happens so she offered to remake it…I watched the worker open the lid, wipe the whip off the top of the drink and then handed it off to her coworker making the drinks. He sat the drink down. Waited a few minutes, handed it back to the drive through lady. She smiled and tells me she remade it. The drink still had whip cream all in the drink. I’m lactose smh so I definitely won’t be back to this location. Lazy employees cutting corners

I NEVER write reviews, but my experience at this Starbucks has been horrible. They are extremely rude, the way they ignore the lobby and speak to guests is ridiculous. I always use a personal cup and this time when I handed it to cashier she just left it on the counter for at least 10 minutes before I asked if they were going to send it back to be made, they eventually did send it back. 10 minutes later they gave me the wrong drink but in my cup, I made them aware of the error, and asked if I could just have my cup back and I would go else where, they told me no we’ll remake it. After 10 more minutes I asked hey can I just have my cup, the young lady said “I wanna make it for you I just don’t know what you had because we lost your sticker.” Once again I said please may I have my cup, she once again asked to remake it, so I told her what I ordered and she made it. I walked out and when I got to my car I was met by the manager Diego, I thought he was coming to apologize, instead he was coming to confront me and accuse me of cursing at one of the employees (the same one who insisted on making my drink at the end) I was completely shocked, the cafe area was packed with customers and not one person heard me say anything out of order, I was very patient and just wanted my cup back. After explaining this to the male manager Diego who approached me outside of Starbucks he said “ok have a good day.” I felt very threatened and I still don’t know what to do other than stay away from that particular Starbucks and to contact corporate. This whole experience was scary and very disappointing.

Just sharing! Went through the drive-through it was busy as usual, I forgot to add on two petite vanilla scones. When I got to the window, I asked the young lady if I could add them on. The manager, think he was a manager, guy had pink hair or purple short hair and was tall. He said no, They were too busy and I’d have to go back around. This really surprise me because it’s not a hard item to add on. It doesn’t have to be preheated. Bad customer service, sir and Starbucks is in the business of customer service.
