I had the garlic edemame, mix tempura (shrimp & veggies) & sweet mango roll. I'll be back to try other items. Great atmosphere & vibe. Service is great & food delish! Highly recommend!

I called and i asked Jessica to add some spicy mayo and teriyaki sauce and they didn't send me anything andi would order it but i couldn't find it in their menu and the food not fresh at all but it's should be because it's a sushi very disappointing.

Tried this place yesterday with some friends. The sushi started off good (spicy tuna rolls and caterpillar) until we found a hair in our verano roll. We told the staff and it didn’t seem like a big deal to them. Usually when a restaurant makes a big mistake like that you’d expect an apology but the waitress just asked if we wanted it to be remade.

We didn’t get our napkins and sticks when our appetizer arrived. Food was ok, I also was not offered a refill on drink even though waiter saw I had an empty cup as he brought a roll that arrived much later than our order. I real hope they can improve these details.

Great sushi spot!
Their rolls are fresh and flavorful, and the teriyaki bowls are fantastic. We pick up food here a couple of times a month, and the experience is consistently solid. The employees are always attentive, friendly, and welcoming.

The only downside is the location—parking can be a bit tight during busy hours, and the entrance is easy to miss since it’s located on a busy corner. If you do miss it, expect to make a couple of U-turns to get back around.

Overall, it’s definitely worth it for the quality of the food and service.

Food was great! Service was the issue. My wife and I were the only ones in the restaurant so serving us shouldn’t have been an issue. Our waiter was too busy playing on his phone to bring us our drinks until someone else working in the restaurant said something to him. Our drinks were never refilled and I ended up going to the front of the restaurant to pay because again, our server was too busy playing on his phone to see if we needed anything or if we were ready to pay.

Wow not busy but some of the best in national city in a while. Last thing I'm not why this place is not packed. We should definitely help that.

Fantastic food. Highly recommend. This place is a hidden gem in National City. The fish is fresh. Plenty of tv’s showing various programs, including PPV fights. Bar isn’t open yet but they’ll have a liquor license by the end of May 2025. Good prices. Family run business. This is our new go-to sushi spot. Been here at least 5 times now and never disappointed.

The food was very good and we were very happy with the rolls that were served.

Had a little miscommunication when we wanted to substitute salmon instead of tuna in a roll and ended up paying more. Sad about that tbh.

It took over 25 minutes for the food to be delivered. The girl was extremely inattentive and didn't even come over to see if we needed anything. When she brought the food, it was so salty that I couldn't eat it.
