I got the birria quesadillas, and they were pretty good! They could’ve used a little more seasoning as I felt the meat was a little bland and missing spice? But other than that they were super good.
We didn’t have to wait super long for our food and our Oder was taken pretty fast. The service was good.
The place was pretty clean, the tables could’ve used a wipe down, but the atmosphere was nice and peaceful. There’s plenty of nice places to walk locally too.

Quick, delicious, neighborhood taco food. Fast service, delivery option, mostly consistent quality (only one over juicy meat experience out of many!), variety, gf and df easily ordered. Rewards program, nice people, daily specials each week. Inside/outside dining. A favorite!

one of the most unique menus ive seen at a Mexican restaurant. I got their jalapeno burrito and shared half with my buddy. tasted so yummy like carne asada mixed with soy sauce. we each got one fish tacos and they were delicious. lots of seating and the staff was very helpful in helping me choose the items . My buddy got the monster rolled tacos plate and he loved it. My favorite item was the camaron enchilados fries. They were so amazing. spicy shrimp with melted cheese. definitely coming back here.

Out of all the Mexican spots here in San Diego, This place has been the most consistent With the quality, flavors, and service. My wife and I always come back to this place and it’s always so delicious every single time. The consistent quality and taste just does it for me ?.

Got the Asada fries, California burrito, and the asada burrito. The asada fries were good but the topping to fries ratio was off. More toppings. The cheese was definitely lacking for a $14 menu item. The California burrito was also good but the filling ratio was also off. It was like 75% fries and 25% everything else. The regular asada was a better. Overall good if a little pricey for what you get.

The place itself is nice and clean! We ordered the Asada Tacos and it was delicious. My husband ordered the monster rolled tacos and the portion was pretty small for what they advertise it. The birria tacos are decent. The Horchata was perfect in our opinion, good flavor and not too sweet. The service was good in our experience. ?

This place adds a liner of cheese to their tacos randomly. I do not like cheese and have allergies to it ..I ordered Both chicken and asada and they just added all asada not caring if the person can eat that or not and not informing the customer about the changes. So the person has to go without eating and have to reorder or find something else to eat last minute. Imagine the Inconvenience! If it’s DoorDash they will do whatever and not care. People Spend a lot of $ for this cancer food so just do right by people! All red meat !!

We've been to the Taco Lounge quite a few times now and the food has always been great and fresh. The service is typically good as well. Usually get our order to go but the inside was decently clean. Every table we have sat at has been very wobbly, but obviously not a huge deal.

Been going to them for years. As they've pasted, quality of food has gone down drastically. There's no flavor in their beans. Specialty items come with basic ingredients. This is also the only place I know that does bean and rice Burritos with the rice on the side. Quite inconvenient and weird. Never have I ever experienced this anywhere else. Not a place I'd recommend.
