Taiyo offers an outstanding and phenomenal dining experience with world-class attention to detail. The quality of the fish is exceptional, especially the sushi nigiri, sashimi, and Toro, including Yellow Torro straight from Spain. The standard maki rolls are just ok, but all the rolls and appetizers are fantastic. It features gluten-free options with no imitation crab. The fresh wasabi is very good and highly recommended. Cocktails, like the smoked old fashioned, are available, and Sapporo is on draft. With only six tables and a sushi bar, the service is great and quick. It is easily the best food option at the Gaylord, though prices are not cheap.
