Tapioca Express

Not Tapioca Express anymore. It’s now called “Dori Boba”. Didn’t try it; ended up driving down to Bonita for the real“Tapioca Express”.

I go to that place pretty often and every time I ask for half boba of two different kinds, they charge me $.75 for each kind even though I’m just asking for half the amount they usually put and instead put two different kinds of boba. I paid $7.50 for a small mango tea! It’s ridiculous because boba should be included in the tea but no instead you charge double, wow! A lot of other well known boba shops are cheaper and better. Will never come back.

I have been to this tapioca express before and never had an issue except with this one employee. I ignored it the first few instances to give the benefit of the doubt however this last time i went in I was really disappointed. I order a hazelnut milk tea with boba and i got a honey dew flavored drink. When I told the employee that my order was incorrect they refused to remake it and told me it wasn’t their problem. The name of the employee was Drew or Dre.

I went here to get some bubble milk teaThe portions were large and the tea was really flavorful. The honey boba was chewy and sweet. I tried taro milk tea and got a jasmine milk tea to drink I'm the evening. Stored the jasmine in the fridge for a few hours and the boba held up against the tea and kept shape which was surprising.The service was really great and the person that made our drinks was polite and very efficient. The decor at this place was a little outdated, but there were a few places to sit. There is also outdoor seating in the shopping mall with pretty landscaping and shaded areas.Tapioca express was empty when we visited with no other customers. I guess people don't have bubble tea in the morning. ?‍♀️

I like their Italian soda. It tastes better without the jelly tho because it will be too sweet. The crispy chicken here is so scrawny and dry. I accidentally stabbed myself in the thigh with the stick because it bounced off the extra dry tiny chicken piece. The only location I like is the one on convoy for snow bubble.

First time trying the Avocado ? smoothie with boba, it was so creamy and delicious! 10/10 loved the lumpia 10/10
