I have been to this tapioca express before and never had an issue except with this one employee. I ignored it the first few instances to give the benefit of the doubt however this last time i went in I was really disappointed. I order a hazelnut milk tea with boba and i got a honey dew flavored drink. When I told the employee that my order was incorrect they refused to remake it and told me it wasn’t their problem. The name of the employee was Drew or Dre.

I went here to get some bubble milk teaThe portions were large and the tea was really flavorful. The honey boba was chewy and sweet. I tried taro milk tea and got a jasmine milk tea to drink I'm the evening. Stored the jasmine in the fridge for a few hours and the boba held up against the tea and kept shape which was surprising.The service was really great and the person that made our drinks was polite and very efficient. The decor at this place was a little outdated, but there were a few places to sit. There is also outdoor seating in the shopping mall with pretty landscaping and shaded areas.Tapioca express was empty when we visited with no other customers. I guess people don't have bubble tea in the morning. ?♀️

There are tons of locations just in Chula Vista alone but the stores provide a great atmosphere to enjoy a drink and meet up with friends. Feels like the brighter, fun Starbucks of boba. Tons of variety and plenty of snacks to nibble on. My favorite is the honeydew snow bubble and crispy chicken. Tip: I prefer to skip boba in snow bubbles (frappe) because the texture becomes very hard (simular to putting gummy bears into frozen yogurt). If I do order a milk tea with boba, try small boba. It's more fun and a silkier texture.

Every time I order via grub hub or door dash, they always forget the straws! Tried to call multiple times to the store but will just ring and no one will pick up.

I ordered a chocolate snow boba and a taro snow boba. My order was ready in about 5-7 minutes. Total was about $11. Service was friendly and we enjoyed our drinks!

I like their Italian soda. It tastes better without the jelly tho because it will be too sweet. The crispy chicken here is so scrawny and dry. I accidentally stabbed myself in the thigh with the stick because it bounced off the extra dry tiny chicken piece. The only location I like is the one on convoy for snow bubble.

2nd time I ordered Crispy chicken snacks, both were dry and the COOK always put one or two good pieces of chicken on top of bag but the rest of the chicken were dry and hard…SMH…. But the crew working in front were amazing ??.
