A tavern with Star Wars decoration and Happy hour with beer for 5 dollars, what more could you ask for?

Good service, and the craft beer on tap is a delight. I also recommend the food.

Great atmosphere and service. The tots are the best. Great selection of tap beers. The energy in the tavern was positive, along with the good selection of overhead music. This a must stop when visiting downtown Chula Vista.

Kitchen closes really early. It is Labor Day weekend and they closed the kitchen around 9:15pm. The owner isn’t the most welcoming individual. Won’t be back to this place.

Someone PLEASE tell the young kid with the blonde mop of hair who works there, that in food service, you DON’T run your hands through your hair constantly, and you DON’T run your hands all over your face, put your hand over your mouth several times, and then serve people their food! This is basic food server stuff! Gross!

Very good restaurant.
We ordered bison burgers and normal burgers.
The taste was so good that we wanted to eat another one.
Thanks to the chef ??????

Vogue Tavern is a modern-day Cheers, where everyone knows your name, just like the TV show. The owner is a character all unto himself and goes out of his way to say hi every time. The beer selection is wild, stacked with tasty offerings you can't find anywhere else, even in today's beer-snob society filled with breweries on every corner.

Located at the end of the microbrewery hub in downtown Chula Vista, it's the perfect starting point for a pub crawl with your buddies. Start with some good food and wild European beers, then walk over to the nearly 20 breweries, bars, and restaurants on this and the next two blocks, located on both sides of the street.

The food choices are simple but all tasty, the beer is cold, and the conversation is always flowing with the other patrons and staff, so you'll always feel included if you want to be. Stop by and give them a try - you won't regret it.

Snacks took forever to arriba at the table and chicken strips were black burned.

This was a standard tavern experience: Inside tables are seat yourself, napkin dispenser on the tables, and fried foods, burgers, and a sprinkling of European fare.
Fried pickles were ok, wedge was yummy, and I appreciated that it was already cut up.
The chicken and waffles were a good kind of spicy. My partner didn't care for the powdered sugar on them, but I didn't mind it, they cooled the heat from the chicken.
I was a bit disappointed by the use of plasticware for apps. They had silverware available for the entree, so it seemed unnecessarily wasteful.
No complaints on the service!
