This place has super nice sound system. I would not take kids or teens here. Lots of Day Drinkers. I wanted to try to the wings and watch the Padres game. More of a bar than food with lots of larger women with tattoos not my thing.

To the owner of Canyon Sports Pub & Grill Canyon Club, On June 27th, 2024, three women entered the establishment, Canyon Bar and Grill on 421Telegraph Canyon Rd, Chula Vista, CA 91910, close to midnight to celebrate a birthday. They ordered three shots, which were placed on the counter by the bartender, a large sized Hispanic/ Tijuana female with bleached hair about 280 lbs at 5 feet 5 inches tall. As they began recording their celebratory moment, the bartender abruptly told them they needed to "get their f’n drinks and move elsewhere." One of the patrons calmly informed the bartender that her tone and request were unprofessional and that she should tone it down. In response, the bartender forcefully grabbed the drinks from the patrons and threw them into an ice bucket. She then proceeded to use explicit language, telling the patrons to "get out" and refused their request for a refund. Another bar tender then became involved, female, about 150 lbs, 5 feet 2 inches tall also a Hispanic/ Tijuana with bleached hair and the bars manager, a Hispanic male, dark hair, 5 feet 8 inches - 11 inches about 300 lbs. This confrontation quickly escalated into a bar brawl, turning what was supposed to be a celebratory occasion into a distressing and chaotic experience for everyone involved. Two of the three women were violently attacked by multiple individuals, to include the two bartenders and the manager on duty, resulting in severe injuries that will require additional medical care. The unprofessional conduct of the bartender resulted in injuries to the patrons, for which the full responsibility rests with the facility's owner and management. Police were called, and legal action has been initiated. A warning is hereby issued: if you seek safety and wish to avoid conflict with individuals who may act violently, this establishment is not recommended. Those seeking drama or a chaotic environment may find this place suitable. However, if you wish to avoid negative experiences or potential harm, this establishment may not be suitable for you. Four females and at least one male were involved in the incident, which has been recorded and documented. Charges have been filed, and a lawsuit is being pursued against the establishment. To resolve this matter and avoid legal action and associated fees, we request the following actions from the establishment: 1. Immediate termination of employment for both bartenders and manger on duty that were involved. 2. A public apology issued to the victims of this incident. 3. Full reimbursement of medical expenses, lost wages, and damages incurred by the victims. If the establishment rejects this offer, we are prepared to pursue legal action in court to hold them fully accountable for the consequences of this incident.
