I absolutely loved my meal. The hand roll special with three rolls were tasty and my katsu curry bowl tasted how the iconic Japanese curry I know and love should. Our server was great and everything came out quickly. I'll definitely keep coming back.

The food is ok but they took a long time bringing the food to our table. I couldn’t believe there’s no bathroom in the restaurant, they should have a bathroom for customers and this place doesn’t even have a place to wash your hands. Customers need to use the JC penny store bathroom. Attention to city of Chula Vista.. any restaurant with dining in should have a bathroom for their customers I will contact the city of Chula Vista to report this place..
Really good food, I’ve been a faithful client for over 5 years and I’ve yet to try something that wasn’t good. If i recall correctly, they have a great deal of $12-14 and you get a large beer and small hot sake or vice versa (it’s my go to). The On Broadway roll, while extravagant and not so cheap, is a must. It’s absolutely delicious and the presentation is top tier. The monkey roll is always our go to, along with the super crunchy. Don’t expect too cheap of a meal, the prices are a bit up there but it’s so worth it!!!

I recently visited Unisushi for lunch based on a friend's glowing recommendation, bringing my mom along for what I hoped would be an exceptional dining experience. Unfortunately, the meal left us a bit underwhelmed.
We ordered the Lemon and Cilantro Roll and the California Roll, expecting consistency and flavor in every bite. However, the rolls varied significantly in size and ingredient distribution. Some pieces were noticeably larger than others, and some had avocado while others did not. This inconsistency affected the overall taste and enjoyment of each bite.
While Unisushi had its moments, the uneven quality of the sushi left us wishing for a better experience. I hope they can improve the consistency to match the high praise they've received from others.
