The worst I've ever seen but that's a MANAGEMENT issue when asked about the poor conditions he replied it's hard to get quality Workers I told him No it's Management that's not knowing what there doing .

This place is horrible to shop at now. They have literally tried to lock everything up. They have the legos and some portions of the arts and crafts locked up! It's really ridiculous. I only try to come if there are no other options. Not only are many ridiculous things locked up they try to scan your receipt upon you leaving...sorry I don't wait for that! I don't pay a membership for your store therefore you aren't required to scan my receipt. I'm not a criminal and shopping at your store is a headache. The store is almost always never stocked with items anyways. Oh not to mention you HAVE to purchase any cosmetic items in the cosmetic section( they have their own cashier and have made it to where you cannot take carts into that area). If only Walmart made that much effort to treat their employees better!

Do not order groceries from Walmart to be picked up via their pick up service. The people that they have working do not know how to spell or have any education. They bring out the wrong items that you did not order which they insist you ordered. Then you have to wait longer for them to gather the items that you ordered. The entire deal is an exercise in frustration. In theory it is designed to save you time by ordering your items online, having them ready to be picked up with no hassle. However, in reality the employees that you call on the phone cannot spell and are clueless. One employee came out insisting that we had ordered a box of diapers. He asked for my ID and he had our name written down on a piece of paper with our order. Then he told me that I was not authorized to pick it up. I had to call my wife and wait for her to find the order number to try and fix the situation. He left and I had to wait for another employee to come out who had our order already prepared for pick up. Mind you this is after I worked a 12 hour shift and I'm tired as f**** Never again will I put myself through this b********

I mean I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have a place to spend my weekly $300 on groceries and bump into people I haven't seen since high school because let's face it, I grew up in the suburbs and now my kids are too. Anyway haha the place to go for anything.

1-star because we've had nothing but bad experiences at this location. Warning: Employees will treat everyone like criminals, the costumer service is horrible, the place is filthy. I refuse to change my son in those bathrooms! Do they clean it more than once a week? Doesn't look like it. They recently moved around the cosmetic section blocking it off from everything else in the store, with its own cashier and everything and no carts allowed inside! First of all? I'm just supposed to leave my cart with all my groceries and everything and put my diaper bag on (definitely won't leave any of my personal items outside) and pick my son up out of the cart with his blankets just to go shopping for freaking face wash, moisturizer and mascara holding all that. Then struggle to pay, with a 1 year old and bags in hand before I can even leave the section. Freaking no thanks. I'm assuming all have to show a delegate receipt for all that when trying to leave because you treat everyone like criminals. Let's be honest though, your cosmetic section is NEVER stocked anyways. But now it's looked empty. Because no one wants to bother with that s**** I guess I'll go to Target from now on where we are practically patted down like I'm trying to steal mascara? I mean come on. And s*** like personal care items for women and baby formula isn't locked up. I also don't appreciate having to push a button and wait 20 god damn minutes for some similac Walmart. F*** off.

I really don't like this place that she worked 15 minutes just to find a decent parking spot it's always to visit if you ask the staff what are you call or you go in person and they never know where anything is and can't ever help you. Yes they got everything but no use When your staff doesn't know where it is to make sales or to help the customers

Check the site and app to see if they have heaters in stock and they do. Then I call in to make sure and they say yes! And then I go in ... THEY GOT JACK S*** EXCEPT FOR AN WORTHLESS OVERPRICED 130 DOLLAR FAKE FIREPLACE! Are you f****** kidding me? No apology, no sorry for outright lying absolutely nothing but the hate I now feel for Walmart

This used to be a nice Walmart to go. It used to be clean, well lit and friendly. Not anymore. This location, along with the once nice and thrilling Eastlake community has gone downhill. Several regular items locked behind glass shelves, have to hunt down an employee to get something as simple as motor oil. Even if you find an employee, he/she doesn't have the key and its another 15 min wait till one shows up. Areas were shopping carts are not allowed, (cosmetics). Long times for receipt check at the exit. Getting a working shopping cart is like playing the lottery. I don't blame management though, the location is now filling up with ghetto trash from all the nearby low income housing.

So, I had a hard time understanding the adverse reviews until a couple days ago. I needed to make a simple jewelry return and as usual, the counter was unmanned. I noticed someone and waited. Finally a woman showed up and when I said it was a return she said she couldn't help and that the usual girl would be back from break in about 30 mins. Um, okay? Y'all really don't have other trained staff to cover each other during breaks? I really wonder what happens when someone gets sick, jeez. Anyway, I shop around and return about 40 mins later and still no one. Finally 10 mins later the same lady shows up telling me no one can help. After I tell her it's ridiculous and just a return and ask if I can just go to customer service and do it there, she agrees to do it herself. I'm perplexed. I'm glad SOMEONE did it - the point isn't who, the pint is, no one here gives a flying hoot about your time or customer service. This whole debacle could've been avoided had she agreed to in the first place. I added an additional star because this location is clean and organized. The people at the registers and around the store are otherwise really friendly and helpful. Get it together at the jewelry counter lol- you'd think you'd always want someone there.

This Walmart location in Eastlake is simply the best. The store is very well lit, clean, and organized always. This is the best location in Chula Vista and in all of South County in my honest opinion. The store is very large and you will be able to buy all of your groceries and typical Walmart items in one convenient shopping trip. The staff is very friendly and amazing. Try coming here when it is early in the morning or late at night. This is when the crowds are typically smaller and the wait times are faster. There is a wide selection of products here that you cannot find other locations in San Diego County. By far my favorite Walmart location to shop at.

I expect long lines during Christmas time, but when the wait is because the worker doesn't know how to ring up gift cards, a popular item during the holidays, that's ridiculous. If they aren't experienced on the register enough, this isn't the time to get them training, do it during slower seasons. 30 minutes for him to get help in a transaction is excessive, if it weren't for the fact I was buying alcohol, I would have done self checkout. On a positive note, the cart pushers and the guy putting away pallets were helpful

Short and sweet review. I used to like going here back a few years ago. Not so much anymore when I returned 5 years later. 1). Lots of choices. Good. 2). Very bad customer service. They will pretend to not know locations. Will not accompany you to the aisle that you are looking for. Bad. 3). Very difficult to find parking. Bad. 4). Too crowded. Bad. 5). Lots of long lines. Register and customer service. Always long lines. 6). Missing items are stocked after several days. Good. 7). Below average cleanliness. Bad. 8). Open 24 hours. Good. Really cant give it an average rating. Ive been to better locations. This one location is disappointing. Then again, you go there to get stuff if its there, its good. Im usually here in and out as fast as I can. Business only.

Although this is farther away from me, i find myself going to this location more often. Pros: A lot more employees if you need help finding something Decent size parking lot not really shared with any other stores Good markdowns on deli food. Cleaner than most Supercenters - Night and day compared to the one in downtown Chula Vista Employees are Super friendly! Few cons here any this is just to nitpick Cons: They tend to have less registers open and rely on the self serv machines. (Minor) If various items do not scan you have to get an employee to assist you.

Horrible service when you're ordering or picking up. Not too good at decorating cakes. Going to Sams Club
