When I was the age of 11 through 13 I would always come to this store to buy my favorite snacks and even steal them. One day I was making my usual trip to this same store when the staff during that time offered me free food. I was deeply touched and appreciated there kindness. Sometimes I wonder if they saw me on CCTV stealing items off there store and decided to act in kindness or if they simply just acted that way just because. Today, I am the age of 18 and I have just came across a feed from Instagram that brought me back years to when I was still not a teen yet. It made me think of the nice staff that gave me the yummy fries and yummy burgers and I hope I could see them again when I come back to San Diego to visit then

The pizza is good, but the service.....definitely not! We had gone there for a few years because Bonita lacks decent pizza, but I have not been back lately. I ordered a giant pizza for a party. It's fun and a decent deal, unless you load up on ingredients. They said it would be 30-45 minutes. I was busy hosting the party and didn't want to wait, so I showed up 45 minutes after calling. It was not ready. In fact, they had not even made it yet! What? Not in the oven yet? Not even ready for the oven. Not cool, guys. So, I perused the liquor store, which has a great selection, and waited. And waited. And waited. About 45 minutes later the pizza was finally done. Seriously!?!? Not only did it take 1.5 hours to make this pizza, I stood around waiting for 45 minutes while my friends were having fun at my house. That quality time was stolen from me. The guy did apologize because they were busy, but that didn't help the situation. If I were the manager or whoever was working, I would have comped the pizza or at least given a significant discount or credit for a future order. They did not. I have not been back and suggest you avoid the place if time and honesty are important to you.

The deli is awesome. I go there so much they know me by name now. One of the guys hits me up all the time to get a gyro and once he saw me walking up and started making one before I even got in the store. All the food is good there! stop by and try them out. You wont be sorry!

This store is awesome because the staff is always super friendly and helpful, it sells alcohol and regular drinks, tons of tasty snacks and it’s connected to a pizza parlor next door which is also pretty good! They sell lots of gatorades and pedialyte and snacks that I just can’t seem to find anywhere else nearby. Always worth a trip, there’s more than alcohol here. They sell hygiene items and cleaning supplies too.
