Great food and nice atmosphere. You can dine in or takeout. You can order takeout on Postmates. I ordered takeout one night and ate at the restaurant another night with my friend.
They do not serve buffet style anymore but we had a delicious lemon chicken soup, Greek salad & a tasty grilled salmon w rice. Fresh bread too. Everything was very tasty.
Tried a variety of dishes, some not pictured as well. All the food was fresh and Somewhat appropriately priced for the portions given.I wish they had condiments in the table (salt and pepper) since some of the food wasn't too throughly seasoned salt wiseThe service was great, waitress was attentive and stayed on top of everything
Having just come from Europe and visiting Chania many times, my husband and I are SO glad to have found an authentic Greek place here! We do so miss Remezzo's in the Chania harbor, but Zorbas has become our go-to Greek place when we get a craving! Would love to see some good Greek breakfast soon. We will definitely be back!
This place is a hidden gem I dint see enough people at. ITS DELICIOUS! They used to have a buffet which was better than Vegas but since Covid do large platter dinners for groups. Bring your appetite and friends. I wish I was eating the gyro meat now.??
I’ve been here quite a few times and I have never been disappointed! The food is really delicious and the portions are nice. This was my first time in for dinner And I really liked the menu selection, I ended up getting the Gyro plate and as well as getting the beef skewers, it came with a side of soup. The beer on tap is nice (got a Sculpin). The melted cheese that they Light on fire table side is really fun I will for sure get that again and the hint of fresh lemon on it that they pour on it really makes it taste delicious!
Typically when you're only one of the few places serving a niche product, it's easy to get away with mediocrity. That is not the case at Zorbas. Anyone who knows what you're looking for in Greek food would want to make this their first choice. Their Lamb gyro meat is some of the most well seasoned and delicious that I've tasted even in the Greek Towns of Chicago or Detroit. The food is fresh, light, and loyal to their roots. Make sure to end the meal with the baklava. You'll feel full for days, and that's how you know it's good Greek!
So, let's see. I love this place. I love the whole family. I am really ticked off by some complainer about the buffet being gone. Well, I am actually a buffet fan. Like I make it a point to check all of them, Vieja's, Sycuan, Barona, Harrah's, Pala's, Pachenga, Valley View. I also visit the steak house ones, Greenfield, Texas de Brazil and Agora. So, here is the problem that you people do not understand. Zorba is better than all the Casino buffets if you do not include dessert in your comparison. Way better actually and yet it was priced at 60% of what they charge. This could not and should not have continued to go on.I also am a business owner and I was really worried about Zorba surviving because of how low their prices were.If the buffet was to return from a purely business stand point it should be priced at 70-80 dollars a person, because that is the price for comparable buffets, like the steak houses. Zorba, compared to them have the same ingredients, only significantly better prepared versus the "salt it and put it on fire" recipe that the others have. Now, would people still come for the buffet it the price was hiked up that much ? Probably not, because emotionally it would feel like they are paying a lot compared to what it was before. So, may be the buffet would return one day but at the right price that it deserves which again in 70-80 dollars a person. Instead of complaining that the buffet is gone we should thank the family for providing such good food for such a low price for as long as they could. Finally about the mom. Yes she is a little bit on the rough edge. So what ? She's the mom. Her attitude is actually adorable. God bless them all.
Zorbas is still an icon of the kitschy elements of the American interpretation of Greek culture - white and blue paint, Belly dancers with live bands on some weekends, flaming saganiki cheese, Ouzo, and mostly pretty good food. Unfortunately, post pandemic, they have at least mostly given up on the Buffet (supposedly have it for Mothers day and Valentines), and the prices have risen as well. Still an amusing adventure, if you lower your expectations a bit.
ALL YOU CAN EAT?? nope. if you eat more than one plateful, they will ASK YOU TO LEAVE. The woman manager, is a demon. The food is good, the service is STIFF, and not worth the tip that THEY EXPECT. The music is LOUD, and the place is small. I dont get the belly dancing show, if you want to see strippers, then, there are strip clubs. Lets not be shy folks.

Amazingly great greek food!! We visited Chula Vista for a couple of weeks. We ate here twice! SOOO good! Excellent service and surprisingly not that crowded. I don't write reviews often, but felt this restaurant was so good, everyone needs to know! Eat here if you love Greek food. The BEST I've ever had.
It's been going on maybe a decade since I've gone to Zorbas, and decided to check it out. Gone are the big buffets style meals. The ambiance was nice with Greek music playing, 3 people checking in on us. They bussed the table quickly. All three of us ordered the Gyro Plate. It comes with soup or salad, veggies, and rice or potatoes. The food was very fresh. The Lentil soup was so good ?? .My son really liked his chicken soup. Umm. My Lentil was way better in my humble opinion...The salad my husband said was good and just enough in porportion. The Gyro meat was not hard at all, but rather tender and juicy. ?So u know it wasn't sitting around for a long time. Also, for me there was abundance of it. My son couldn't eat all of his meat, and neither could I (Yay, leftovers!). I always ask for more Tsisiki sauce. Yum.. yum.. The Pita bread was hot and soft, like right out of the oven feel. OH SO Yummy..? Normally, Greek places give u a lot of onions and tomatoes. It was more sparse, but for me I don't like a lot of onions and tomatos. So perfect. I'm a rice eater, but this rice was amazing. It really was tender, buttery, however they made it. All I can say, is I'm taking this leftover rice home. We were stuffed with no room for dessert. It was pricey, but everything on point and wonderful ambiance. NOT crowded at the time we went which was sometime after 12 noon. When we were leaving it was getting busier. So if you want cheap, there's plenty of Greek cafe's around. if you want quality and ambiance (which I place lots of value in) then you can enjoy here. A nice sized parking lot, plenty of seating inside and large outdoor patio seating (fenced in).Looked like they have setup for live singing, but obviously not for the time we dined. We enjoyed it, and life is too short to not enjoy time with family, enjoy R&R with food Yes take time to smell the roses. YES, they had a live carnation in a small vase on the table.?
deliciosa toda la comida. Y excelente servicio!!?
Great gyros dish. Very generous portion. The Greek salad was delicious. I'll be back to try other dishes. Very nice server.
