Once again, we were not disappointed! Lovely meal! We are members and had earned a free entree, and our favorite wine was on special, so we really felt spoiled! We were seated promptly and the timing for everything was perfect! Our server was great!
We had the Campfire Feast Dinner for Two for $69. Everything was great except the Honey Bacon Brussels Sprouts which were overcooked and a bit mushy. But our server Sierra more than made up for it with very professional yet friendly, engaging and attentive service. Will definitely go back and do it again.
We had a very nice dinner here celebrating my husband's early birthday meal. The service was excellent he kept an eye on us and made sure we had what we needed. Our food was very good and it was not very busy so it was nice and quiet evening in the bar.
We dined at Black Angus located in Citrus Heights for Thanksgiving. HUGE MISTAKE! First, we were given a limited menu which was not advertised on their website. Then we were greeted by a tone-deaf waitress who kept referring to us as “you people.” The food was horrible and my husband had to send back his steak because it was very rare, even after he asked for it to be cooked medium. I ordered salmon with rice pilaf and macaroni and cheese and everything extremely overcooked. I mean ALL of the dishes! This Black Angus location ruined our Thanksgiving. We will NEVER be back!
The portions were tiny got $30. We had dinner there for Thanksgiving last year and it was 200 percent better.
Service was horrendous, took almost an hour after we ordered to get our food, had requested when we ordered some wine to be sent asap, that never happened and didn't get it till after food was delivered. The when we did get our food it was cold like it had been sitting for a long time. I realize it was Thanksgiving, but please you should have had more staff on board. Word to the wise don't go here on Thanksgiving
We went there on Veterans Day and were treated like royalty, Everyone of us (5) enjoyed our food. The server was very polite and very helpful. I would recomment Black Angus and I would definitely go back.
One of our favorite places to dine was an abysmal disappointment this time. We had a waitress who must have been new as when she came to take our drink and appetizer order could not understand our drink request. It is the same thing I have been ordering for my whole life, a brandy and water in a tall glass. She returned with the drink for my wife and a pint beer glass with ice water and a shot of Brandy in a rock glass. I specifically asked her if they had tall glasses and she said yes. That wasn't a tall glass it was a beer pint glass. She took it back and then she came with the rock glass filled with water and Brandy. I said you don't understand my order, so she took it back and brought it with two tiny pieces of ice in it. I said you still don't have it right but leave it here I am done trying to get her to have it made right. Never knew a bartender doesn't know what a water highball is. It's a good thing the food was good although they overcooked my wife's steak. We will no longer be dining at this place again. Very disappointing.
My husband and I both said "Why don't we come here more often?" Dinner was wonderful, service was top notch (Shawn) and the prices were affordable.
Upon entering, we were greeted warmly & quickly led to a table. Our server was just fine. We were, however disappointed with the food. The baked potato soup had kind of a tangy, off-putting taste that was not good. The waiter quickly replaced it with something else. Noticed another table within my view had the same reaction. I ordered the broccoli sidekick. Since when is broccoli served with the stem? My baked potato was fine, as were the first couple bites of my filet mignon. My wife had to send her steak back for another, as it was overdone. All-in-all, the experience made me wish we'd kept our original reservation (63rd anniv. dinner) at Ruth's Chris. Price is not that much different & we'd have had a better experience.

I ordered a 2 for one meal on door dash. OMG this place is named correctly! Burgers were huge, delicious. I will have to select the lettuce wrap option next time, with the deep fried cheese, the bun made it too big for me to bite. Lol but it was soooo good.
We celebrated my daughter's 47th birthday at Black Angus, her favorite restaurant. We have been loyal customers for many, many years! We love the food it is consistently delicious, the specials are great and the service is amazing! It is nice and quiet so we can hear each other without so much distraction unlike many restaurants today where they have TVs everywhere and so noisy.
The food and service was exceptional. I have been to this location about 6 times in the past 18 months and every visit has been exceptional in every way possible. Reservations are easy online. Will be going again in the near future.
