Ciro's Pizza Cafe

For 23 years, since our daughter passed away, (her favorite pizza place),we have been coming here, on her birthday. This time, has been the only time we have been disappointed. Food was late, appetizers were late. I'm not going into details, or posting pictures. I hoping this was an isolated incident. The staff tried compensating with a couple of free beers, and a gift card. It's appreciated, but i have a 2 strikes policy. Hopefully next year, we won't be disappointed.
Today, October 17, decided to check the balance on the gift card, they gave me as a ......whatever. there is a $0.00, balance on the card. Think I will go somewhere else. What a shame
I declined to go into details about our experience, but considering the news of the zero balance on the gift card.
When my family arrived there, there was a party of 6 in the back. We took a booth, and were helped. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and a large pizza, and salads. After 45 minutes, we still didn't have the appetizers, or salads. In the meantime, other customers had arrived, and were served their pizza. The appetizers were burned, and when the pizza arrived, over an hour from when we ordered, it was burned on the bottom, to the point, where any extra pieces, roughly 1/3 of the pizza, we left. The bill was around $140..

Good beer selection and service! Pizza was good, not overtopped with cheese or sauce. I do personally prefer a less doughy and thinner crispier crust. Outside seating is nice, however the traffic at the intersection can be fairly loud, but you can sit inside.

When this place first started, you would find me and my family there. Every night I have checkbooks where at least 70% of the checks were written to these guys. They used to bring me pizzas to try out. We bought so many. Great place if you like pizza.

Hands down, best pizza in Sacramento. I come for the food and Ruben!! The beer selection is out of this world. I prefer to come here over going to some local breweries. He is the friendliest worker I have ever met. Always picks out my drinks and Ive yet to be disappointed. If there was an employee of the month, he would earn it every time. All of the staff members are great and worl hard. Highly reccomed this place to anyone I speak with!! I go as often as I can ☺️

When her they sold me a picture of beer they they couldn't produce when I said something all they had to say was sorry. And then the manager that came out said I'd tell you the truth but I'd get fired and when I said you just said that to me he said you can leave or I'll call the cops. Is this how you want to be treated at a restaurant

I have came here a multiple times for take-out, each time that I came. The pizza wasn't a let down, enough toppings, crispy crust, warm and ready when we have arrived. Can't complain except for parking other than that. The business is not a let down to my family.

Not a pleasant experience. $15 for 2 very small slices of pizza that did not taste good. Very crunchy crust, will not be back here. Got bell peppers as one of the toppings and there was 3 pieces of bell pepper one of the pieces was a huge chunk of 1/4 of a bell pepper. Sauce was lacking prominence and flavor. Only one person working in total so the service was very slow. Not great customer service.

I have been ordering from them for over 10 years. The pizza is one of the best in town and it is very rare any mistakes occur.
