Found this nice restaurant this morning called Corner Stone Restaurant on San Juan Ave., Citrus Heights. Grits grits grits...made to perfection. The potatoes were nicely cooked for a taste to remember, along with everything else. Benito the chef knows how to do it and Liz the waitress was friendly with a side of funny. I definitely recommend this restaurant's breakfast. Try the grits, y'all.

I wanted to update my previous review because I misspoke about the Cornerstone not having ample room for large parties. Today I took my husband out to breakfast and because when my son and I entered the restaurant we entered straight forward but if you enter the restaurant and turn left there is a pony wall and there is seating on the other side that will accommodate large parties. Once again we had amazing food and all thanks to one waitress. They were short staffed and the owners were helping seating and filling coffee and tea and hit chocolate. Great service all around. Love this place.

This is by far the best breakfast in Citrus Heights. If you get here before 8:30 am, you get all of this for $7-. Coffee is extra. Juan is the most awesome cook/ server, because he's been there forever.

This place has it all. Great food and great people. Eat here, not there. I enjoyed the Huevos Rancheros and a huge fluffy pancake. Yummm. I just moved here from the Philly area and they made me feel welcomed and part of the family.
My Wife and I just love the food at cornerstone. The restaurant gives us the feeling of old fashion goodness and warmth. The servers are wonderful. We love Jackie and Libby. You must visit this place if you are looking for a warm and friendly place with terrific food and reasonable prices.
