El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles, the sound of lively music, and the mouthwatering aroma of authentic Mexican dishes being made fresh. The atmosphere is colorful, welcoming, and full of energy, you can instantly tell this place takes pride in every detail.

The food was absolutely phenomenal! Every dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The carne asada was tender and juicy, the enchiladas were rich and cheesy, and the fresh salsa and chips were addicting. You can tell everything is made with love and authenticity. The portions were generous, and every bite felt like a taste of home-cooked comfort.

The service was just as impressive, friendly, fast, and genuinely caring. Our server made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us often without being intrusive. The drinks were perfectly mixed, especially the margaritas, definitely a must-try!

Food was mid in my opinion I ordered the albondigas the meatballs in it where good but I didnt like the broth it was very tomatoee also didnt taste authentic, also ordered a burrito which again was mid service was ehh..food overall tasted very american.. I loved the atmosphere the plants and art were the best part... other than that I wont be back.

Food was okay. We ordered the sizzling chicken and steak fajitas. The steak was solid — good flavor and cooked right. But the chicken? Dry and tasteless.

I’ve also noticed a trend lately — restaurants bulking up plates with extra vegetables to make portions look bigger. I expect onions and peppers with fajitas, not zucchini or mystery squash. That’s filler territory. I thought only Chinese takeout pulled that move.

I also ordered a mezcal and got a surprise. What looked like a full one-ounce pour turned out to be about a teaspoon once I poured it into a proper short glass. I had to explain (for a while) that I wanted it served like a good scotch — not in a shot glass. The waitress eventually brought the right glass, but by then the illusion was gone — and so was most of the drink.

Overall: service was polite but confused, food was average, and the mezcal pour was a magic trick gone wrong

Bartenders don't serve you unless your a regular, you have to wait for a long time while they talk to everyone in the restaurant before you get service. I tried coming here multiple times and basically been turned away. The manager only says sorry this bartender has been here awhile.
