Ok. Kind of reminds me of subway. Not as good as Jimmy John's or Jersey Mike's IMO.

Not a big sandwich eater, but I was pleasantly pleased with my sandwich, at Firehouse Subs.

Usually an incredible sandwich. But this time something was off. I think they changed their turkey?(!).

Good food, good customer service, pretty decor, but I don’t come here as often because it is hot and stuffy inside.

I have eaten here several times. And I love it.
I get the brisket sandwich foot long, it’s so big and full. My sister eats the Italian sandwich and says the foot long is too big. I get us drinks and to wrap it up. I get a cookie baby. Yeah!. This my weekly to go spot. Go there you won’t be regret it. Subway and Togos had nothing on this place. Nothing. And don’t forget to donate 1 dollar to first responders that is so awesome how they do that. I always get it to go, but it’s nice and cool as temperature wise and I love that. They have a TV so go enjoy your self.

I ordered a ham, salami and pepperoni sandwich on wheat bread, but it came on white. I asked for sliced jalapeños, they there were none. And I don’t think I’m a fan of the brand of mayonnaise they use but other than that the sandwich was OK. (I also don’t recommend the sliced pickles.)

Also the entire time I was ordering, I felt like I was being rushed they weren’t even that busy. Not to mention the guy behind the counter didn’t even ask me if I wanted a combo or not, he just charged me for a sandwich. Then when I stated that I wanted the combo, he didn’t ask me what size drink, he just gave me a large.

I don’t know maybe it was that I just had a bad experience at this location. I might try firehouse again, but I still think that Mr. Pickles is way better. From the food, to the service, to the atmosphere.

Salami sandwhich with chedder , small with oil vinegar pickles .
Worst sandwich I ever had. 😫
Never recommend this place again. So my italian sandwich was supposed to come with pepperoni and ham. I only wanted salami. What kind of thinking is to give just 6 little slices of salami on a wheat roll.
Instead of making up the ham and pepperoni with the Italian slami sandwich. Can't wait for them to close the doors.
Go to jersey Mike's evryone.
From a meat cutter.
This company should be ashamed of this sandwich.
And my wifes gluten free roll is crumbling while trying bite.

The 2 gentleman that were there closing Friday 04/18/25 were very professional and courteous. They made my sandwiches exactly as requested and quickly. Very helpful with the hot sauces provided as well. Highly recommend the location at Madison Ave and Sunrise Blvd in Citrus Heights, CA.
