If you’re looking for a place to enjoy delicious Iranian food with top-notch quality, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.
The food is excellent and high-quality, reasonably priced, and served with warm hospitality.
Let me share something with you: my 12-year-old son has fallen in love with this restaurant’s food.
Every two weeks, he treats us to a meal here.
You should definitely try it at least once — I’m sure you’ll find yourself craving it at least twice a month!
Under new ownership, new menu
While the family who now runs the place does still have that lovely middle Easter hospitality, the new menu is so bare and bland.

Absolutely love this place!!! First experience of Pakistani food and we fell in love. Have been back 3 times in the past 2 weeks. The chef/owner is the nicest guy, puts a lot of care into his food and service. He made great recommendations and even whipped us up a beef curry dish that wasn't on the menu that the husband loved. This is definitely becoming one of our regulars!
The food here is truly exceptional—some of the best Persian cuisine you can find in town. Mr. Amir, the owner, is incredibly welcoming and friendly. Every time I visit with my coworkers, he personally comes out to greet us. Even on our very first visit, he brought us a variety of pickles to try, which was a thoughtful and authentic touch.
The portions are generous, yet the food is so delicious and well-balanced that you’ll finish your plate and still feel like you could go for more. If you're looking for real, traditional Persian food in Sacramento, this place is a must-try. Highly recommended!
Exellent food and customer service!!
We have gotten take out and have eaten in. Both experiences were great. The food is delicious and the owners are very friendly. I have been looking for a good Persian restaurant since we moved to this area 2 years ago and I have found it here. We will always come here when we're in the mood for Persian food.
Best Persian food I’ve had since moving to Sac 7 years ago. The owners are so sweet! Picked up a to go order with my BF a few weeks ago, took my son there today. The wife came out with a little bowl of Persian rice pudding…DELICIOUS! Then the husband/chef came out with a bowl of fava bean rice with beef cheek…should seriously put that on the menu!!! We destroyed everything! So good!!!
I don’t usually go out of my way to revisit restaurants, but six months after my first visit, I found myself making the drive from Fairfield to Sacramento just to eat here again—and it was every bit as incredible as I remembered.
This time, I knew exactly what to get. I started with the Mast O Khiar—a chilled yogurt dip with cucumbers and herbs that’s refreshing and perfectly balanced. It’s the kind of starter that complements just about any main dish, especially those served with rice.
For the main course, I didn’t hesitate: I went straight for the beef sultani—an unbeatable combo of filet mignon kabob and koobideh. But instead of standard rice, I requested their Baghali Polo—a fragrant green rice made with fava beans and herbs. Trust me, this rice is a must-try. It elevates the entire meal.
While waiting, I enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere. Persian music played in the background while the news aired on a huge screen (seriously, it has to be 80 inches or more). The ambiance is warm and welcoming—whether you’re dining solo or bringing family.
Once again, the food was spot on: grilled meats juicy and packed with flavor, rice perfectly fluffy, and those fire-roasted tomatoes added the right touch of smoky sweetness. This place is officially in my top favorites—and clearly worth the repeat
Love this place! Easily the best Persian food in the Fair Oaks, Citrus Heights area. Everything is home-made, Amir, the owner and chef makes everything from scratch, all with no MSG. We have been going in and getting his lunch specials for $12.99. We got the Chicken kabob with rice and grilled tomatoes. The rice is so delicious, buttery, soft, and crunchy. You just have to try it.
Unassuming and quiet restaurant serving the most succulent Persian food in California! Family owned and operated, proud to showcase their culinary skills any hospitality!

This has definitely became one of my top favorite places. I've never had a kabab this GOOD in my life before. It's obvious that the meat is so fresh. It is juicy and so soft and it has a lot of flavore into it. I'm just in love with it. Also, I just ordered a salad from here, and the dressing was AMAZING. The chef makes it himself, and omg it is so unique and good. I've never had this kind of salad dressing before, wish I could have it everyday with me.

Worst food we ever tasted. Chicken tenders were simply not tender. Eggplant-Lamb dish had only one dominant spice. No taste whatsoever so ever.
