Just moved to the area. We were looking for something good and close by. We were lucky to find Persian Kabab & Grill. The food was delicious! It was great to meet Amir and hear about how much he cares about the quality and authenticity of his food. We will be back!

Persian Kabab & Grill is the only restaurant I’ve been that has both the best Iranian food and ownership/people in all of Northern California! It felt like a home cooked meal from uncle/aunt and I was transported to the hospitality, cuisine, and a down to earth dinner that I will definitely return to.

- They accommodated our party of 12 adults and kids seamlessly and everyone scraped their plates
- The food is fresh and high quality
- The shishlik I had was most delicious (grilled lamb chops)
- We asked for no dairy in a few dishes and it was no problem
- There was nice traditional music played in the background at the perfect volume
- Parking was super easy and free
- The entire restaurant is almost entirely nut free (except walnuts for an amazing dish fesenjoon)
- Most importantly is that the owners really love what they do and are a beautiful family that make amazing food for the people

Thank you for a delicious meal and experience, I will be returning soon!!

Let me preface this by saying, I don’t leave reviews. Good or bad, I typically wont take the time to comment on my experiences. This is an exception.

The food here is outstanding. Authentic flavors and impressive portion sizes. I LOVE lamb and they do it right. Even something as simple as “plain rice,” is far from plain here… sooo tasty!

My favorite part of dining here was the experience. Amir and his wife are warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about their food. They would come out and talk to us, share about the dishes and the complex flavors and ingredients. It is clear they take pride in preparing authentic dishes with authentic ingredients. Amir explained the process of one of the dishes and how many days it takes to prepare and the various locations he goes to in order to source the best ingredients.

It’s annoying to read some of the negative reviews on here because they don’t feel valid or very fair. The price, for example. Food is not cheap. Period. Even crappy McDonalds is a minimum of $20-30 in one visit. And that food is garbage. At Persian Kabab & Grill, they aren’t taking shortcuts or compromising quality, which is so important. Not only that, their prices are VERY reasonable, especially considering what you get. Large portions, real ingredients, and the most wonderful company. Amir was so excited to share his experiences and cuisine, he brought out a large batch of pickles which I devoured. Even as we were leaving, his wife brought some dessert for us to try. Seriously the kindest and sweetest people. It’s worth trying this place just for their company and hospitality. The exceptional food is a bonus.

Great home made Persian food, made to order. Chef knows how to cook this cuisine to perfection and doesn’t cut corners anywhere. If something is slightly more expensive than you’re used to, it’s because the quality of the ingredients this place uses and it shines through in the foods. Gormeh Sabzi was thick, not soupy, packed full of fresh herbs. This wasn’t stew out of a can like some other places serve. Rice is buttery and fluffy. Home made pickles are also excellent. Well done! I’d post pictures of the food but I ate all of it.

Absolutely loved it! Food was outstanding, service top notch. We went there for Fesenjan, which was flavorful and so delicious! Also had Gheimeh Bademjan full of savory broth, tomatoes, beans, tender meat and tasty fresh herbs. Of course rice and Tahdig, which we both love. We are from AZ but will make this a definite stop when we are back in town again. My husband is Persian and said it was the Best he’s had. Thank you for making our trip complete.

I recently visited your restaurant with my family to celebrate a special occasion and enjoy dinner together. Upon arrival, we were informed that there would be a 30-minute wait for an indoor table. Since the outdoor patio was completely empty, we asked if we could be seated there instead, and the staff agreed.

As we are a party of seven, we attempted to adjust the patio tables slightly to sit together in the shaded area, as it was quite sunny. However, we were immediately told by a staff member that we were not allowed to move the tables, as it would block a pathway. We pointed out that there were no other tables or guests behind us only a wall but she insisted we could not make any adjustments.
I went inside to speak with another staff member, who reiterated that our group would have to sit separately and that no accommodations could be made to seat us together outside, despite the patio being completely empty.
Unfortunately, this interaction left us feeling very unwelcome, and the overall experience was quite disappointing, especially since this restaurant has always been a favorite of my mother’s. Based on this visit, we will not be returning, which is truly unfortunate.

I recently dined at Persian Kabob Grill and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, blending traditional Persian decor with a modern touch. From the moment we walked in, she was welcoming and attentive without being overbearing.

We were visiting Sacramento and chose this persian restaurant to have lunch. We got Chicken Kabob, Koobideh, and Barg. Kabobs were tender and delicious. The yogurt is house-made, and it was the best yogurt I've had! The owners were super nice, too.

Authentic Persian restaurant with delicious food and a warm atmosphere. The meal started with fresh bread, herbs, cheese, and a flavorful eggplant appetizer. Their kabobs are incredibly fresh, juicy, and well-seasoned—I ordered the lamb and koobideh kabob, and both were outstanding. Plenty of parking is available, and the restroom was clean. The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
