Great food but they never answer their phone anymore for take out orders. Only within the last 2 weeks they will let the phone ring nonstop it’s very annoying to drive over there just to see they close early with no sign or they just have one phone off the hook so they don’t hear it ring

Amazing experience dining alone. Many compliments to the chef and everyone in the restaurant. Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. Save the tempura for dessert. :)

Mizuki in Citrus Heights is hands down my favorite spots for sushi in Sacramento. It’s become a go-to for our work (Deacon) crew for years; we’re here so often that the owner, Ella, knows us all by name. That personal touch makes every visit feel special.

The food is consistently amazing. The Red Dragon roll is my favorite with jalapeño peppers also it’s just packs the perfect kick. The Citrus Roll is fresh, flavorful, and a perfect signature touch. And don’t even get me started on the gyoza—easily the best in town. Pam seared to perfection on the outside, flavorful inside, and always served piping hot.

Whether it’s a casual lunch or a post-shift sushi fix, Mizuki is always my go-to. Can’t recommend it enough!

5 stars Customer Service and Ambiance.
When I enter the restaurant. I couldn't wait to try the food. The place was romantically beautiful and luxurious. Customer Service was professionally amazing. They were on point in checking with their customers and give full attention to details. Even though, they didn't take the order down on paper or tablet, I do not like the idea of trying to remember what we order. if they get it wrong. its frustrating to even try. However, they were able to pass my expectation. Quite impressive.

-2 stars.
The food I receive.. they were quite disappointing. The bento box didn't look appealing. The sushi rolls looks like an advertisement. The taste was store brand... like fast food or Safeway. It didn't have the fine quality taste to match with the restaurant. Any of their rice didn't taste like sushi rice. its not the worst. it could be better.

final results 3 stars.

Will i come back there again? perhaps to wine and socialize with appetizer. no meals. :D

Not child-autism friendly. Told we cannot have any outside food for 7 year old. Child cannot eat sushi unfortunately, and of course we wish they would, but we as parents certainly do, so there’s no loss of business by visiting/accommodating. We’ll never go back; parents with special needs children stay away. And just to be clear, this was Saturday night dinner and the place was 30% full at best, so no “paying” customer seats were being taken. Thankfully there are tons of better sushi places in the area.

Food was good but the lady checking us out was not friendly. She didn’t say thank you or nothing. Just treated me like ok got your money bye. The sushi chef was nice telling us thank you have a great day. We won’t go back. Its cost too much to go out to eat and be treated bad.

Finally a sushi place in Citrus Heights that's affordable and tastes delicious! Glad I don't have to go for a long drive just to get some good sushi anymore. Loveeeeee the sushi!!!

What a fantastic dining experience! The ambiance was inviting, with a mix of modern and traditional Asian decor that created a cozy yet sophisticated vibe. The service was impeccable—our waiter was professional, offering insightful menu recommendations and checking in on us frequently. The food was the highlight of the night—crispy spring rolls and a deliciously spiced Thai curry that was rich yet perfectly balanced. The sushi rolls were fresh and inventive, and every bite was a new experience. Definitely a place I will return to!

My favorite sushi place for the last 6 or 7 years. Tries a different place tonight and was so beyond disappointed that we felt like we betrayed mizuki lol. I love the atmosphere, the food, the service. Favorite dishes are the Himalayan appetizer and the Crossing roll. Been going once every 2 to 3 months for over 5 years and never disappointed.

I had the thai chicken, which I thought was pretty good. Spicy so that's a plus.
