Coffee was good, and the food was great! I had the blueberry cheesecake and cheesy corn wheel pies and they were both delicious. Perfect snacks to sneak into the AMC movie theater ?

Alpaca Cafe is located in Puente Hills mall, next to Wetzel Pretzel. The ordering system is a kiosk which I always appreciate because it's simple, easy and quick. When we got there, there was already a line waiting for their orders. I absolutely love that they have wheel pies because I can't find that everywhere.I decided to try something new so I got the matcha latte. I'd like to try their other concoctions. Their wheel pies are amazingly delicious. They hit the spot so much, I ordered a few for home and it was a great reheat in the air fryer.

I ordered the green milk tea and the blueberry cheesecake wheel pie. The blueberry wheel pie was pretty good and I really enjoyed it. The milk tea was good too. This cafe is located inside the mall near the movie theater. There aren't any seats but you can find plenty around the mall.

Delicious taiwanese wheel pies! I love the boba custard one, but legit they're all amazing. I'm excited to try their teas too, all of them seem authentically Taiwanese.Yes, it takes a little longer than a pretzel, but it is so worth the wait! Located right next to the AMC theater, you're going to be watching previews anyway, may as well use that time to get yourself some legit delicious sweet treats for your movie. Ordering is simple. I do wish there were more chairs outside though.

Great customer service, it was fast because of the less crowded and I have a communication with the cashier that help me guide the sugar and ice on this jasmine green tea that I order.

Eh. There are a plenty of better cafes and tea houses in the area; don't bother with this one. This was my first (and will definitely be my last) visit to this shop.I wanted a coffee drink, but this place is clearly not a coffee specialty place. I got the Crazy Alpaca (cold brew coffee with black tea mixed in), which was one of the two "Alpaca Specials" menu items. Nothing special about this one; it was watered down and tasted like a mix of day-old coffee and day-old tea.I also ordered their Blueberry Cheesecake wheel pie. Having had dessert items made in similar fashions under different cultures, this "wheel pie" was a miss. The filling was not overly sweet and plentiful, but no blueberry chunks and the cream cheese was runny. The batter was not seasoned properly (probably lacked some salt) and was too crispy. My party also ordered the matcha and matcha red bean wheel pies. The matcha filling looked like guacamole that was changing color due to oxidation, into the moss-green color. The collective comment was that the wheel pies were not bad but not great either. This shop is located inside a dying Puente Hills mall. I don't expect this mall to stay in business for too long. A disappointing drink shop fitting in a disappointing mall.

Came here yesterday with a friend to try out their drinks :) My friend ordered an Alpaca Fruit Tea w/ Mango Star Jelly at 50% Sugar. I ordered a Passion Fruit Tea w/ Mango Star Jelly and Peach Fruit Jello at 50% Sugar, with Less Ice. I also ordered a Smooth Custard Wheel Pie. The drinks came out pretty good, but it was still too sweet for my taste buds. I think I should have ordered with regular ice. The Wheel Pie is delicious as well :) I haven't had this snack since I was a little girl, so it was great trying it again after so many years. The custard was sweet at first but it got bland near the end. They filled a lot of custard in the wheel pie so it will leak. I highly recommend coming here for their fruit teas and wheel pie. I still have yet to try their milk teas so I will do that next time I am in the area :)

The mall it's located in feels like a horror movie location and the Cafe is the only shiny spot. Tasty drink, but the worth going to that mall for.

This place is located inside the Puente Hills mall. It's so sad to see how dead this mall is now. The only businesses that are still thriving here are AMC, Round1, Hai Di Lao Hot Pot, and this place. This spot is known for their wheel pies. We got the cheese corn & blueberry cheesecake wheel pies. The cheese corn one is pretty good, with enough corn and cheese flavor combined. You need to eat these wheel pies while they're freshly made and hot otherwise it won't taste as good. Will have to come back to try their other flavors, especially the custard one. There's a self-service kiosk. It does take a while to make these wheel pies so feel free to walk around nearby or just wait there. Their packaging and decor is so cute!

They call it wheel pies, but they're basically dorayaki right? Glad they have this option in puente mall, if you are tired of the usual mall snacks like pretzel. You can smell the eggy waffle-y from second floor. The menu says they make it fresh, but maybe not all the time. On our visit, tasted like they've been sitting under heat lamp. The waffle taste kinda thick and not crispy.Custard is classic flavor. Theirs is not the smoothest but custard is a safe option.Red bean is thick and chunky. Corn cheese is more savory than sweet. Unexpected flavor but pretty good. You can taste the chunky corn. You can order from a tablet without talking to person until pickup.

Alpaca is a-okay for me. I've had this place bookmarked for awhile, so I finally was able to check it out and it was a bit disappointing. It's located in the Puente Hills Mall, next to the side with the AMC, Haidilao Hot Pot, and Baskin Robbins. I definitely got lost because I've never been to the mall, so you want to park closer to the Haidilao parking side and enter the mall entrance and make a right. It's quite small with very limited seating. Most of it is order via a screen, so not too much human interaction lolol. I ordered their most popular items, including the alpaca boba milk tea and blueberry cheesecake wheel pie. They have a variety of flavors, including matcha, custard and boba, and red bean. The wheel pie was really cheesy and sweet lolol! I think my boba was okay, it was a bit too hard, and not as fresh. I prefer my boba chewy, and this was borderline like when you leave your boba overnight, and it becomes hard and not the best. So that was very disappointing.I also had to ask for the alpaca holder for my wheel pie, they basically, just put it in a regular bag, but they had so many alpaca holders and bags with alpaca cafe branding. From a marketing standpoint, it's a huge missed opportunity, especially because I wanted to take pictures with the alpaca logo! That was the huge draw of why I went in the first place. I think overall, really, disappointed.
