i have eaten ramen in japan & elsewhere in the world. this is one the best tomkatsu! Small & intimate place to eat with only a few seats available adds to the charm.

Quaint local ramen eatery. Uses thin ramen noodles. Honestly very hard to find vegan ramen in this area so super glad this place offers a vegan option. It's a small Asian restaurant hidden in the back of the plaza which makes it easy to miss. I think if I was to be in the area again and craving some type of ramen, I would come again just to support the local business. ..... SPICY VEGAN RAMEN: 3/5 really appreciated how there are so many vegetables and protein toppings, the broth was just spice with not too much additional flavor complexity..

5 mins ago, I finished one of the best bowls of ramen I've had in ages. I'm sad it's gone, but I'm super happy to have found this place! My boyfriend and I ordered the black garlic tonkotsu ramen and the tonkotsu ramen respectively, with an order of takoyaki. EVERYTHING tasted amazing, I can't wait to come back and try their other options. The black garlic tonkotsu ramen had a definite taste of black garlic, unlike other ramen places where it just tasted oily this ramen was well balanced. The tonkotsu ramen was creamy and rich, but not overly so. And the takoyaki had a nice crisp outside and it was melty on the inside, the octopus also had a nice chew, not rubbery at all. I can't wait to go back, and maybe next time I'll remember to take a picture definitely a good spot to check out~ Thank you very much for the delicious meal!

One of the best ramen spots in the area. However, it's a bit pricey (about $18) for a big hearty bowl of noodle deliciousness. I came here during lunch and it was very conveniently located in a plaza with decent parking. Only ordered the black garlic tonkotsu ramen but was looking at the tasty appetizers on the menu too. The soup was amazing and had lots of good garlic-y and savory flavors - super authentic. The noodles were perfectly dense and chewy without being too hard. The egg and seaweed added the perfect touch. It's definitely very well made and cooked - the name "artisan ramen" fits the bill.

Great spot for ramen! I ordered a black garlic tonkotsu ramen and takoyaki. Both dishes were flavorful. I loved all the toppings in the tonkotsu. The pork was tender, the bamboo added texture and the egg was cooked perfectly. The service was great and the waitress was very kind. Definitely a good ramen staple in Rowland Heights. In terms of location, this shop was small and cozy. We went on a Thursday evening and didn't have to wait. The plaza it is in, was hard to get in and out of due to the traffic on Gale Ave. However, even with the traffic, I think trying their ramen was well worth!

When your favorite place for ramen grows stale or is too busy, this place is the place to go! This was just the place for me when I decided to go; and, it had me wondering if this place was always the place to go! The restaurant is open and welcoming with an atmosphere complimentary to an intimate date. Decor simple, relevant, and appealing in a minimalistic kind of way. Host & servers friendly and gave a greeting in Japanese. The menu was to the point and simple; not complicated or cluttered with too many choices. With at least 4 ramens available to serve upon order (add-ons included to customize the ramen to your liking). I got the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. It was spicy enough to warm, and perfect for a rainy day. The noodles were perfect! The broth tasty and satisfying to the senses. The small Chashu Belly Rice Bowl ordered and enjoyed on the side was excellent! Moreover, a few other things: the place does not serve alcohol. No sake, no soju, no beer, no wine. However, if you are down with a zero alcohol Heineken or Ramune (a Japanese bottled soft drink) then keep this place as an option. If you are looking for something Vegan, there is a Vegan Ramen available - just be sure to call them in advance before visiting to see if it can be served at the time of your visit. Last but not least, the cleanliness of the place was evident... meaning, the place did not look or smell like any part of the restaurant was being neglected. The tables appeared clean enough to eat off of which I did not hesitate to do when some Chashu Belly meat rolled out of my bowl. xD Cheers!

On the way home this evening, I was craving some ramen so I decided to order ahead from this spot. I got the Spicy Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen to go and the food was ready when I arrived. The parking was atrocious due to the parking lot being completely full since there were a ton of businesses inside the small plaza. Onto the food, the ramen had deep flavors and a decent portion size. It was the perfect spice level for me and will go back for more ramen in the future!

This ramen place is very good. Definitely worth a try. I tried the tsukemen, which I must say one of the better ones in all of Los Angeles. The sauce is intricate, the chashu in the noodles was very good. And the noodles were excellent I definitely want to go back to try their other ramens.

i believe I've found my new favorite ramen spot! Parking is adequate in the plaza, but then again, we visited on a Saturday night where most family and kids were probably trick/trunk or treating. This is definitely a hole in a wall, small ramen shop. When we arrived, we didn't really get serviced right away, but I soon realized because they were trying to handle their online/uber eats order. We ordered the a regular Tonkotsu and black garlic Tonkotsu and they were both amazing! The flavors were good, the egg was soft boiled, and the cha shu was yummy. The broth was very flavorful and creamy! Even my toddler enjoyed some of the ramen. We ordered a side of extra tsukemen ramen (hoping to give our toddler that instead) but she preferred the ramen noodles. We also got a side order of takoyaki to compliment our ramen. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to come back. If you could, please order directly from the restaurant and pick it up. It's like a small mom and pop shop and they could definitely save the $$ on the fees and loss through delivery services.

One of the best ramen places in the area! I arrived right at 5:30 when they opened for dinner on a Sunday and was seated right away. Ordered the spicy black garlic tonkatsu ramen with a side of bamboo. The broth was super flavorful and had the perfect amount of spice. Thoroughly enjoyed my bowl of noodles and will be back again soon! Service was amazing & super friendly which made the whole experience even better!
