This is what Chinese food should be!!!!!!! Good food for a reasonable price. Never disappoints. Too bad there's only 5 stars because it's worth so much more. All the dishes are delicious and are good portions.

Mama Lu's Dumpling House in the City of Industry is the perfect place for some delicious Chinese and Taiwanese cuisine, and it's easy to see why. The restaurant has a lively, family-friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. My recent visit was a perfect example of their reputation for serving up generous portions of quality food. My family loves this place for their delicious yet super cheap eats!

A classic is their Juicy Pork Dumplings and Soup-filled Shu Mai; these dumplings are the stars of the show, living up to their name with a flavorful broth and tender filling. For something with a kick, the Spicy Wontons were a definite highlight, with a rich, aromatic sauce that had the perfect amount of heat.

The main courses were equally impressive. The Salted Fish and Chicken Fried Rice was a savory and well-balanced dish, while the Salt and Pepper Tofu Fish had a wonderfully crispy exterior and a soft, delicate inside. They were having a special where this dish was only $9.99!! The Beef Wrap was amazing, a delicious green onion pancake filled with tender beef and fresh veggies and loads of sauce! For greens, we chose their Sautéed Baby Bok Choy, a simple but perfectly prepared vegetable dish that provided a nice, fresh contrast to the other rich flavors.

The service was prompt and attentive, and our food arrived quickly. Mama Lu's lives up to its reputation for serving authentic, delicious food that is perfect for a group. I can't wait to go back and try more of their extensive menu.

Mid Autumn Festival is just around the corner 🌕, and as Asian Americans we treasure time with family and friends 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. We wanted a spot that’s both delicious and truly traditional, so we headed to Mama Lu 🍽️.

It’s been years since I’ve felt that instant pull of family togetherness the moment I walked in. Inside, a giant xiao long bao mural 🥟 symbolizes reunion and warmth.

Of course, we started with hot tea , a classic that everyone can enjoy. For food, we couldn’t miss the xiao long bao, super juicy and delicious. We also tried soup-filled siu mai. This us a soupy goodness that makes you go wow.

The beef rolls and salt and pepper (their new recommended dish) were both generous portions, crispy on the outside and packed with flavorful filling.

And of course, no family meal is complete without fried rice: we had salt fish chicken fried rice plus some stir-fried veggies. Truly a perfect feast

I ordered with Uber eats and listed $18.25; however, their menu was $14.99. Food was ok. Service was bad.

Friday 9/5/25 Dinner at Mama Lu’s Dumplings House. Ordered the shredded pork bean sprouts gravy chow fun. Very delicious and a large portion.

There were lots of service staffs who were attentive and provided service quickly to customers. If they slowed down a little to greet customers by saying hi with a little smiles, it would make a big positive difference for better business and more returning customers.

Its location is convenient near Costco and Hongkong Cafe. Depending what to order, food can be good or sometimes too much oily. Service and atmosphere are nice, so in general, I think this restaurant is worth a try!

My wife and I visited this place for dinner on a weekday and it was a great decision! The food came out hot and fresh. The place was busy, but the servers were quick. The fried prawns were probably my favorite, but you can't go wrong with the dumplings. Will definitely come back again.

Solid Chinese Restaurant!!!

When I come here I always need to order my house special fish, French style beef, crispy shrimp, juicy pork dumplings and garlic Chinese Broccoli!!!

The best part about Mama Lu’s is the flavors are always consistent and guaranteed delicious. When I haven’t had Chinese food in long time or want to take my mom out to eat, Mama Lu’s is my go to! Also their XLB are always juicy and soupy!

This location is very family vibe where it’s all about how many families we can fit in here.

The male manager that seated us was very rude when I ask for a booth that was open, instead he took us to a table across the room. He seated the people behind us to the booth that I ask for.
I confronted him and he was making up excuses, I decided to walk out and never come back.
It’s no use to go to a restaurant run by a manager with no common sense and customer service.
