What the hell are xiaolongbao? The skin and stuffing were weird, an unpalatable batch, the chicken was smelly, and the hot and sour soup was no good. Where did they hire the chef? The service was pretty good, but the food was really unpalatable!

Food was delicious and reasonably priced! All the dishes were $10-20 dollars! Extremely worth it with huge portions! Love the house special fish fillet and spicy wontons!

Imagine spending $15 on Mongolian Beef but getting a year's supply of red onions. Look at the picture. That's after scavenging every piece of the tiny amount of beef they actually served.

Wow… this place went from having some good food to flavorless in just few years. I ate there last night in a group of 7. Most of the food were flavorless. Spicy items were not spicy and even the beef rolls tasted really old. They put very little seaweed on the seaweed wrap fish filet. I hardly saw any. The only thing that tasted good was the juicy pork dumplings and the fried shrimp.
Old glory days are over. I don’t think I will be coming back.

This restaurant is always a go to for family dinners. You can get so much food for all really great price. They have a LOT of items on their menu as well. We come here for their spicy wontons and soup dumplings. Their honey garlic pork chop is super flavorful as well. Service was really friendly. The staff was always checking in on us.

We came here because on Google Maps, it was described as Taiwanese food. Unfortunately, it’s far, far from Taiwanese food. So don’t be fooled. It’s more Cantonese comfort food. We had the meatball (獅子頭),beef wrap, Thai fried rice (it was nothing like a Thai fried rice) and features fried veggies (空心菜)。The meatball dish was way too sweet, the fried rice was decent, but on the dry and bland side. The other dishes tasted not bad and the prices were reasonable, thus it warrants a 3*, clearly there are other much better options than this place, such as the Peking Duck place right next door.

Needless to say, vegetables fried in gutter oil! A lot of food, but not healthy! Cheap but harmful to health if eaten! We had diarrhea twice after eating! Killed me! 😭😭😭

Disappointing. Do not order fried food from this place, the oil quality is so bad that I cannot finish my dish.
I thought I could come here to taste the taste of Lao Guang, but I was really wrong. The oil used for frying was too old and it was so greasy that I couldn't even eat it; the rice was too soft; the soup was too salty and I haven't eaten in a restaurant that tastes so bad here.

Dined here for dinner on a week night and enjoyed it. Service was prompt and attentive. Food was good and had a good variety to choose from. Plenty of parking as well. Prices are fair but they don't tell you their prices on their own online platform is higher than the in-store price which isn't cool. They need to do better in that regard.

Mama Lu's is a decent spot for Chinese food and dumplings at a reasonable price!
They have lots of dishes to choose from. (Over 100 dishes on the menu!)
They're known for their XLB dumplings, so of course, we always have to get those. The dumpling skin are juicy with a lot of soup inside! The skin on top is a little thick, so I've had it slightly undercooked before, but the staff was very responsive and quick to bring out a new one.
I also like their French style beef and fried fish fillet. They have great flavor and are tender.
The pan fried buns there are different than the typical ones I see from other restaurants. It was good, but it's not that crispy, and the soup inside gets soaked into the bun.
Service is friendly and attentive.

Terrible service, yesterday I went on 10/25/2024 at around 11:20 am and the waiter, who served customers upon arrival, denied me service and had a manner, not very professional when serving customers, it is a place to which I will not go again,
Mama Lu's in City of Industry is a great place for Chinese food! I have tried their other location and this one didn’t disappoint me either. The food is delicious. XLB is very good. Yang Chow fried rice is what I order every time. The service is very friendly, and even though it's always full of people, the atmosphere is lively and welcoming. The food was quite quick considering the amount of people in the restaurant.

Mama Lu's Dumpling House offers a delightful dining experience. The beef roll is packed with tender beef and tastes delicious. The crispy shrimp, with a hint of spice, is perfect for boosting your appetite. I also loved the fresh, green vegetables that add to the overall vibrant feel of the meal. Every dish is well-prepared, and the restaurant is clean with friendly service. Parking is easy, making it a convenient spot for a satisfying meal.
