Another OG in the area, it becomes my regular as its next to where I work. Noodle soup, fried noodles, Hong Kong style BBQ. I never had one dish thats bad. Their fried noodle, LEGIT.

The spicy pork chops and hot and sour soup are the best things on the menu for sure! Perfect Chinese restaurant with pretty decent service. Very underrated and is highly recommended for lunch and dinner.

Kim Tar's roast duck is the best in the area. The Hainan chicken is of very high quality. Somehow Kim Tar's taste is different among the Chinese BBQ's in the area and good/authentic. We've been coming here for 20 years, having our get together and bday celebrations here. Staff is very friendly.

This place is such an underrated Chinese restaurant in Hacienda Heights, La Puente, & City of Industry area! When we came, the lady quickly greeted & got us seated nicely. She is so welcoming to all the customers that come to eat. The ambiance was a bit old but still comfortable. The food price is also reasonable & tasty. I ordered fried rice with three combinations of BBQ including roast pork, BBQ pork, & soy sauce chicken. The pork and the chicken were all tasty & crunchy as expected & the fried rice was also tasty. This is the best thing as in other Chinese restaurants they're mostly bland. After finishing the meal, the lady gave us a dessert that we didn't know & it was delicious to end our meal today. I will definitely recommend this place for lunch & dinner because they also have a lunch menu that comes affordable! P.s. sorry no photo for today because I was too hangry to take it.

Featuring a menu akin to Sam Woo and other Chinese BBQ spots, with a welcoming staff. While the restaurant may be a bit untidy, it only enhances the charm and authenticity. A longstanding fixture in the neighborhood, this restaurant boasts over two decades of serving the community. The roast duck surpasses Sam Woo's, and while the Chiu Chow Noodle Soup falls slightly short of Kim Kee's, it remains the best option around Just be aware of occasional closures for staffing reasons, as indicated by posted signs.

PLEASE COME HERE ! THE FOOD IS SO GOOD! I was able to talk to the owner and they said business has been dying down since after covid. The food is so good, definitely a great comfort food! The service is great, very personable. Plenty of seating , small or large party. The food was so flavorful and filling! the portion were worth it and comes w dessert.

Good neighborhood Chinese BBQ restaurant. Their roast ducks are excellent. Would also recommend the house noodle soup as the broth is very flavorful. No frills restaurant with average service. Prices are reasonable. They also have lunch specials during the week day.

I have been driving past the restaurant for a few years now. We decided to try the place. The service was great. The owners are super friendly, courteous, polite and if you have questions re the menu or not sure what it is, Cindy and Tree explains everything to you.I haven't had duck and roasted pig in ages, it is fresh. I had their 3 items combo. It was great. I had stir fried Chinese broccoli noodle w/it. Hubby had seafood hot pot soup. Both dishes were great. I had alot of leftovers to take home too. Also if you want roasted pig, better go when it opens, they sell out by 12 p.m.This will be one of my fav places for Chinese food.I would recommend this place.
