ChatGPTI recently had the pleasure of dining at Omaniku, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From start to finish, the service was impeccable. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making the evening truly enjoyable. What made the evening even more special was the delightful birthday treat they surprised me with. It was a lovely gesture that added a personal touch to the dining experience, and it made me feel truly valued as a customer. Now, let's talk about the food. The dishes at Omaniku were not only visually appealing but also bursting with flavor. I could tell that the ingredients were of high quality, and the chef's skill was evident in every dish. Past reviews said the food wasn't high quality, and you need to consider how many courses you're getting at the price. One of the most pleasant surprises was the value for money that Omaniku offers. I've dined at several Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, and while they may offer slightly better food, they often come with a hefty price tag. Omaniku, on the other hand, provides a fine dining experience that is on par with these prestigious establishments but at a fraction of the cost. It's a fantastic option for those who want to enjoy exquisite cuisine without breaking the bank.Lastly, Omaniku is the perfect place for a romantic date night. The ambiance is intimate and cozy, making it an ideal setting for a special evening with your loved one. The combination of great service, delicious food, and the overall atmosphere creates a memorable dining experience. In conclusion, I highly recommend Omaniku. Don't be misled by other reviews; this restaurant truly exceeded my expectations. It's a hidden gem that offers an outstanding culinary experience without the exorbitant price tag.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Omaniku, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with great service that set the tone for the entire evening. One of the highlights of my visit was a delightful surprise birthday treat that Omaniku arranged for me. It was a thoughtful and unexpected gesture that made the evening even more special. Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the uniku. The uni and steak tartare over a seaweed chip was amazing. Every dish I tried was not only beautifully presented but also tasted absolutely delicious. Omaniku offers a fine dining experience without the exorbitant prices typically associated with such establishments. In fact, I found it to be quite a good value for the quality of food and service you receive.I must respectfully disagree with any negative reviews I've come across. Having dined at several Michelin-starred restaurants worldwide, I can confidently say that Omaniku holds its own. In fact, I would argue that it offers comparable if not superior cuisine at a fraction of the cost.Omaniku also proves to be an excellent choice for a romantic date night. The cozy ambiance, attentive service, and delectable food make it the perfect setting for a special evening with your loved one.

Had a private dinner party here for 24 and service and food quality was impeccable. The manager Ken was very accommodating and patient with our loud and rowdy group. The food came out perfect despite such a big party. Loved that we could have a private party.

There are two flavors of beef and seafood set meals. The taste is good and the portion is small.

Celebrated a birthday here, and we had a great time. No corkage or cake cutting fee. Besides that, the food and service was excellent. We ordered the beef menu (can choose between beef and seafood), and all the cuts were cooked to perfection. Didn't think I would be full as I was expecting small portions, but I was soo full by the end of it that I couldn't finish the last dish (bone marrow rice). Cozy ambiance, great for celebrations but be sure to make a reservation in advance. Will definitely be back to try the seafood menu.

If you want foodgasam, this is the place to come. The service and ambiance are great! The location is a little bit tricky. It's right next to the Half and Half tea and the Phoenix food boutique. The google map didn't list the wrong address. They really use the best ingredients. I really appreciate the chef and his team. I could feel their effort from their design of the menu. I as the guest enjoyed the journey to dine here. They are able to bring out the food's essence with depth and layers. I am satisfied.13 courses - 2 types of set menu. I learnt they have kid menu. Serve lunch and dinner.

Love this restaurant. The service is excellent. Ambiance is very clean look. The food is extremely tasty. The quality of the food is excellent. Wagu beef is delicious. The only problem is it's an open kitchen you can smell the cooking smoke. Overall you have to come try it

Located in a small plaza, parking is easy to find. Restaurant reservation highly recommended calling with advance date. Entrance is low-key but a hidden gem of delicious and high quality experience once you enter. The nice quiet space is intimate and comfortable. The kitchen area is an open area and as you wait, the aroma that are coming from the kitchen will make you curious and anticipated. The menu is simple and not overwhelming. Two choices of prix fixe menu, the beef and seafood selections. The beef selection is a combination of beef and seafood (best of both land and sea). For those that are not beef eater, the seafood one will satisfy your appetite. Each course is served in its unique presentation and each dish was delicious. I cannot say which one is my favorite because there was no bad dishes. Staff were very friendly and courteous, they were attentive to detail, handled the dietary restrictions and preference throughout the meal.Price was very reasonable for the type of service and quality of meal. Highly recommended. Definitely see myself going there again in the near future. I'm obsessed.

New revamp menu. The Food was delicious and the service was great. All the items were very delicious. The ambience and Decor can be better, but the food quality and taste was worth it. It is a bit pricey but the taste and quality was great

Came here for MIL birthday. Food was great, service was excellent. Will go into more details later why the food could've been even better. One star docked for smokiness in the room with the open kitchen.

Highly recommended to go as this place has high quality meats. Food is similar to the Sheraton location but gives you a local restaurant feel. Ambiance and music makes this place good to eat at.Definitely give this place a try.

Came here on a Saturday and I must say, reservation is highly recommended. You should also not come here if you're super hungry because you will NOT be full. First thought upon entering is the interior. I feel like it was very minimalistic and basic which was a bit shocking considering how this restaurant is more on the higher ends. Anyways, it was a bit awkward since it was so quiet. I kid you not, there was no music playing! They started us off with Butterfly Yuzu Cleanser. You can either take sips of this throughout each meal or you can finish it all in the beginning. They didn't explain what it was until we asked, which was a bit disappointing, but that's the gist of it. The first dish they brought out was the Unicrab. The crunch, freshness, and presentation were perfectly executed. The next dish that stood out to me was the seared scallop with truffle butter. The flavor and how it was cooked was perfection. In fact, I wish they gave me more bread because the sauce was irresistible. The other dish that stood out to me was the Lobster Tail Compound Butter. Though it was heavily filled with butter, I really love how thick and flavorful it was. Lastly, was the pasta. The pasta was unique and different. It had a nice creaminess to it and the noodles were also al dente. Now let's talk about the cons. In all honestly, the rest of the dishes didn't stand out to me. I think the most disappointing dish was the Ponzu Tomatoes with Pickled Cucumbers. I found this item to be very "cheap". Another disappointment was how majority of the dishes were heavily on Ponzu which I think hides the flavor and the uniqueness of ALL the dishes. I guess that's the reason why I didn't find any of the other ones amazing since they all had similar flavors? Although, I can tell that the quality of each dish was fresh. I took away a star because my cleanser got taken away after my 6th dish. In addition, only four of the dishes were explained to us when given to us. Other than that, I had no idea what I was eating or what was in each dish. I also didn't like how the staff stands there staring at you. If anything, maybe stand behind the counter or at least give a SMILE? That would've somewhat made me feel a bit more welcome.

Wish I was able to give .5 ratings on Yelp. I feel like a 3.5/5.0 would have definitely suited this restaurant more. I came here on a Friday night on whim and was able to call and able to make a last minute reservation for a party of 3. The host on the phone gave me two tasting course options - beef or seafood. We opted for the beef. The restaurant is located in the heart of Rowland Heights where you can find all of the good food. Parking was a bit confusing because it was located in the back of the restaurant while the front door faced the street. Super small and location with just about 6-8 tables. We brought our own 1.8L of sake and to our surprise, there was no corkage fee. They had the bottle on ice and served us for the entire meal. Beef Tasting Course1. Butterfly Yuzu Cleanser: This was actually really good. I could be biased but I love all things yuzu. 2. Uniniku: Omg, this was the best dish of the course. It was served over dry ice. 10/10 on presentation. This meal literally set the bar so high that it made the rest of the course a let down. I mean uni on beef tartare? Say less. 5/53. Rib-Eye Tataki: This dish came with three thin slices, marinated with citrus. The beef itself was very fresh but I felt it was a little bland. 4/54. Outside Skirt Cut: This dish was not special at all. The meat was over cooked and lacked in flavor. 2/55. Hangar Steak: Cooked well but I didn't feel like it was anything special. 2/56. Ponzu Tomatoes with Pickled Cucumbers: As a palette cleanser it wasn't bad but it also wasn't great. 1/57. Seared Scallop with Truffle Butter: Ok this truffle butter, fire. So good! The scallop was cooked to perfection and so moist. I wanted to drink the sauce. 5/58. USDA Prime Rib-Eye Cap: Honestly, this dish wasn't that memorable. 2/59. Endive King Crab Salad: 2/510. Rib-Eye Inside: The meat quality was definitely better than the rest of the beef options. 3/511. Japanese A5 Waygu: Can't go wrong with this dish. It was served over a poached egg. 5/512. Bone Marrow Rice: Served with spinach and kim chi. Loved the bone marrow portion but the dish overall was bland. 3/513. Ube Ice Cream: 1/5The service was great but not sure if I would be back. We were all still hungry.
