Wonderful service! The waiter and the owner were very kind. The owner especially was very sweet. The soy wings were stellar! The sauce was just the right balance of salty and sweet. I highly recommend this place!

I'm munching on their Crispy Ban Ban chicken with signature sauce as I type this. First time here tonight and Kayla took care of me. The options are many and I was too hungry to make any decisions so I just asked her to hook me up, and she did not disappoint!! Wish I knew of this place sooner, I'll be coming back over and over. Thanks Kayla

So I have seen this place and looked it up and been wanting to try it for a long time. I LOVE fried chicken and I love Korean fried chicken even more since there are so many yummy flavors. After work one night, my coworker and I wanted to eat and I suggested we go here to try it. This location is located in a plaza with plenty of free parking next to a dim sum and ramen place which are both also very good. The place was not packed but it was a bit late on a Sunday night after work. There are quite a few tables here and we were seated right away. Service was great and fast. They serve a complimentary side of cabbage, similar to cole slaw which cleanses your palate. Remember to check in on Yelp for some free fries! We got the shaken fries and the seasoning on it was oh so addicting! I did wish the fries were a bit more crispy, flavor was spot on though. We also ordered some cheese sticks which were also very tasty. For the chicken, we ordered the 18 pieces of crispy chicken wings because I wanted to try the cheese flavor and it only comes in crispy, which I prefer crispy anyways. We got cheese and garlic flavor. Both flavors were really good. You can taste the garlic and it is a wet sauce on the wings. The cheese however, I absolutely LOVED. It was a dry rub and just plain addicting!! I would for sure order the cheese flavor again!! In fact, I think I want to order the cheese flavor each time I come until I get tired of it lol. They do have many other flavors such as soy, signature, and some spicy ones. I want to try the other flavors as well. The wings themselves were a good size and super crispy and piping hot when they came out! As with other Korean fried chicken places, they also served the pickled daikon with the chicken. We definitely did not finish our food and had enough leftover so I could take home to my hubby to try also. The food was also not terribly priced. Yes, a bit more pricy for fried chicken, but it is so good that it is worth it! Our total was somewhere around $45 I believe and we had plenty of left overs. Would I come back to this place? Yes!! For sure I would come back! In fact, I am very excited to see that they are opening one up in Chino about 5 minutes from my house!! You can bet I will be going there for some fried chicken!!

Pelicana Chicken is one of the best places you can go for authentic Korean Fried Chicken! I loved that they had a nice seating area which is sometimes the tradeoff you get from going to other KFC restaurants like BBQ Chicken. I appreciated the complementary cabbage salad they gave us and the generous amount of pickled radish. It's the little things that count! We ordered pelicana shaken fries which were AMAZING and well seasoned, and crispy wings in garlic and signature sauce. Both were yummy but I wish the signature sauce had a little more tangy flavor to it. Overall, if you're a lover of K.F.C. or you just need a good spot to chat it up with your friends and have a few beers, Pelicana is definitely worth a try!

My sister wanted to get the Honkai Star Rail collab meal, so it was a good opportunity for me to try a new Korean fried chicken spot. I went to pick up the set for her on a weekday early evening, and parking was easy in the lot. I went straight in the restaurant to place the order at the register. I waited around 15 minutes to get the food, but I didn't mind since you could tell it was freshly prepared. We ordered the set, which came with 9 chicken pieces (you can choose sauce or no sauce but we chose signature sauce), 2 mochi cheese balls, and fries for $27+tax. The set was neatly packaged, and the chicken was still hot after a 20 min drive home. Unfortunately, since I had gone in at a off-time around 4:40pm, the fries and mochi cheese balls were cold. The set came with the game redemption holographic ticket (limited distribution of 40 a day until 12/31) and sticker, which my sister was excited to get. They also threw in a 10% coupon for your next visit to be used in January 2024. The chicken wings were tender, and I enjoyed the sauce which wasn't too spicy but packed good flavor.Overall, good option for to-go! Can't speak for dining in person, but they seemed to have ample seating for casual group gatherings.

Went here for dinner, the service was great. We got a BanBan, half original and half cheesy.

Went for the first time because of the Honkai Star Rail game collaboration. I knew this was a popular chain in Korea and have always wanted to try it.This place seemed newer and also on the smaller side, located in the city of Industry. The staff did a pretty okay job - they were really friendly and helpful though.Food wise, the food was really good. We got two sets of the HSR combination, which comes with a choice of sauce, fries and mozzarella balls. As for the sauce, we got the signature and the garlic. The chicken itself was super crunchy, and the sauces were good. Though, in my opinion, garlic was overpowered as it did taste of garlic spice eventually. The fries were good as well, and the cheese balls were perfectly fried and cheesy.I also absolutely loved the radish (though our combo didn't include it, we had to ask for it). We also ordered the lemonade - peach and strawberry and both were very deceiving in color but delicious. They didn't have the acrylic stands we were here for, but that's okay. I guess it's an excuse to try the Buena Park location, which is closer to me.

I have had Pelicana chicken in the past, but felt that I should give them a second try, especially since they were having their Honkai Star Rail Collaboration and I know quite a few people who are into Honkers. Parking in this plaza can get quite busy as there's so many eateries here, but there's always underground parking or parking behind the businesses. Just a word of warning it DOES take some time for your food to be prepared since they fry the chicken then and there and on the weeknight we worked it seemed like they might have been slightly understaffed, just saying. They do have a waitlist too for table seating so I can imagine that this place does get quite busy as well and as our dinner continued we noticed that the restaurant steadily filled up with big parties as well. For the Honkai Star Rail Collab, we got the: 1) Honkai Star Rail Set Meal x2: -Each meal includes: fried chicken (you can get this no sauce or with sauce), 2 mochi cheeseballs, fries, and pickled daikon radish. -For each set meal purchase, you get a paper collectible bag with Dan Heng and March 7th in casual clothes as well as one of the 2 collab holographic tickets with a code for in-game items. Each ticket features one of the 2 characters mentioned above. -The chicken came out piping hot. Both the no sauce and sauced chicken were decently crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Both were bone in chicken. -I'm more of a sauce person so I preferred the sauce chicken more. We got the soy flavor and it's reminiscent of the soy garlic you can get at other K-chicken places but I feel like the flavor isn't too strong or sweet. -The mochi cheeseballs had a nice chewy texture and gooey cheese inside. It was a it surprising that it was sweet! -Lots and lots of crispy fries were provided with each set but strangely only one was seasoned with the green herb and the other one wasn't...-To share amongst 4 people there were still a little bit of leftovers to take home, so know that these are HUGE portions. This collaboration runs until the end of December 2023, so if you're a Honkers fan keep this in mind! Overall decent Korean fried chicken, but not my favorite with all that is available out there.

Came here for the Star Rail Collab! The chicken is so crispy and juicy. Every bite has a really satisfying crunch. I recommend getting the signature and spicy hot sauce on the side for dipping. The set meal was pretty pricy at $27 but then looking at how much food you get, it's pretty worth. The service here is also super friendly!I wish they had the cardboad cutouts tho

Came here for the honkai star rail collab event, but the food was still pretty great! Fries are pretty standard, but the fried chicken was very juicy and well sauced. The cheese balls are unexpectedly sweet, which makes for kind of a dessert type of food. Was a little pricey for the set meal, but it's a promotions thing, so not really that surprised. Overall though, it's a decent Korean chicken place, I'd definitely come back if I was craving it!

Came here for the Honkai Star Rail collab, which is why we have so much food for 3 people. The meal consists of 9 wings with french fries and 2 cheese balls for each meal. The food was pretty tasty!

PelicanaThe wings place we wanted to try was closed it was good that I found Pelicana. We were welcomed by the young employee as we entered and told us to sit anywhere we chose. There was just another table occupied by a couple so it was not hard to find seating. While we were pondering what to order she came back to bring two cups of iced water and a side of cabbage salad. We ordered their Banban whole chicken. Half original ceispy and half with spicy hot sauce, Ddukbokki, and Peli cheese balls. The chicken was really crispy on the outside while the meat was tender and juicy. The spicy hot sauce started off as mild, then surprised us with the heat as we continued to eat. The Peli cheese balls had a slightly sweet outer crust that complemented the salty, melty cheese inside. The Ddukbokki was really tasty. It came with fish cakes and cabbage mixed in. I dipped the cheese ball in the Ddukbokki sauce and it was so good. Parking was free and easily available in this shared plaza of various businesses.Parking: They also have underground parking

Pretty good Korean fried chicken and is A LOT less busier than the one in Buena Park.Service here is sub par, they tend to have a lot of side convos but once you can get their attention they are cool.Place is clean and set up for game days! So if you're into watching sport, eating friend chicken and drinking beer- this is a good place to consider.

The Pelicana Chicken is located in a large shopping center with other eateries. It's in the corner which is a great location! There's plenty of parking and the restrooms are clean. We ordered the Crispy Banban Chicken - original & soy, along with Peli Shaken fries. I enjoyed the original chicken and the complimentary salad they offer. The Soy chicken had a little bit of a kick to me and the fries was different but I felt it could have been cooked longer. They give saucer-sized plates and I would have appreciated a bigger plate to enjoy my meal. The server was super attentive, had a great attitude and was very accommodating.
