Found this place from a friend. The food is not great but also not that bad. The service was not great either (was helped by a guy in the front). I ordered to-go for lunch and when I arrived, from the front area you wouldn't think that is actually a restaurant. I went in to pick up my order and was surprised the restaurant is actually full of people (the space is not even that big and unorganized). It was quite warm inside, and I don't think they have A/C on in a closed room full of people. But I still give 3 stars because the fact that the food is very affordable (where can you find a complete bento meal with cold drink less than $15) and it's close to my area.

It's delicious. The pork ribs in the pork rib rice are very big and the meat is full of flavor. I like it.

Can't believe in this day and age that people can still be so racist. Especially a waiter at a restaurant located in such a diverse area. My wife came in and tried to order to go and the guy working there on March 12th at 2:50 PM had the audacity to tell her "sorry no English" in perfectly understandable broken English and wouldn't let her order. She called me to tell me what was happening and I couldn't believe my ears. I went and called them and the same guy (there's only 1 guy taking orders) took my order and even asked me if I wanted black tea or green tea. Again, in perfectly understandable English. I confronted him and he was left speachless and didn't say a single word. I hope the owner sees this and fires this guy because he does not deserve a job dealing with customers. I've been here many times and the ladies who work there are always so pleasant and nice. What triggered this from him? I would love to know. Just because my wife doesn't speak chinese? I said some unkind things to him in Chinese after I confirmed he had the ability to take an order in english and he still didn't utter a single word. This place is dead to me.

The man who works here is disgusting and completely unprofessional. Don't bother coming here unless you want to feel uncomfortable and looked down upon. I've honestly never felt so uncomfortable at a food establishment in my life.

I am surprised this place doesn't have more reviews. Food here is a true delight. We had crispy chicken lunch and popcorn chicken lunch, both were delicious and accompanied by right amount of sides, and generous cup of brewed iced black or green tea. Both crispy chicken and popcorn chicken were seasoned and fried to the perfection. Can't wait to go back. One (and only) downside is they are not open on weekends.

All the lunch special are good, and reasonable price with a free ice green/black tea. The boss is very friendly, we have been eating here for 10+ years. My favorites are the red yeast pork combo and pork chop combo.

Visited recently and had a fried fish lunch special (they have a rotating menu btw). The portion and quality was amazing, and it's only $13! Nowhere else can you find a deal like this.Great place for lunch, definitely recommend.
The lunch specials are very affordable and come with a green or black tea. The crispy chicken rice was very fresh and delicious. The service is efficient and kind as well. The place is a bit small so I think it's better to get takeout.

Bad service. the lady's in the front are very mean and such in a rush to take your order, bad attitude and food not soo good.. I asked for dipping sauce and they walked away and said no which is odd is your going to make popcorn chicken or fries you should have a dipping sauce

Haven't been here since COVID and glad it is still open.They have Daily Lunch Special ($14.95 with a large drink) that ends at 7pm! The Daily special plate came with soup, 3 small tiny side dishes, rice, and the main course. There is also a promotion: spend $50 and more and receive a FREE frozen to-go food or dine-in Cold dish salad; we picked the cold dish mixed salad and it came with a nice portion. I do feel the restaurant can put more effort or attention into the cleanliness of the place. We sit at the corner table by the counter; all the special posterboards were dusty, the counter was dusty, and the food plater was sticky..

Our favorites are the chicken streak, red yeast, and pork knuckle rice. As for the lady answering the phone, yes we call her the cold blood assassin. Never any extra words but it doesn't bother me anymore. The food is great and I don't need her to love her job.
