Wednesday 12/20/23 Dinner at Savory Corner in City of Industry with my cousin. Hong Kong style chicken rice, shrimps egg rolls, and beef tripe. The foods were okay, nothing special. There are many restaurants that I know that makes each dishes better.Small restaurant with few service staff.David YoungRestaurant Enthusiast

Hainan chicken is alright not bad, but taste more like some hong kong style chickenThe beef noodle soup( with the white soft noodle) is actually really good! The spicness is also perfect, the soup can also feel the light beef broth and the noodle blend well with it, def a hidden gem.

First time visit, so we asked what's best and popular here and staff suggested the hainan chicken. We also ordered the wonton soup with flat noodle. We ordered to go because we just had lunch. The parking is not bad. The place is very clean including bathroom. Simple decor but pleasant. The wonton soup is very tasty and the wonton is big compared to other places. And there is veggie in the wonton soup that is really good but I don't know what veggie that is. The hainan chicken is also very tasty and the rice is just right. The staff are very friendly, kind and helpful. I will definitely come back for different dish and dine in.

4++ feels like a small café/mom-and-pop restaurant that is located in a strip mall. The folks here were friendly. The ordering system is primarily a QR code. Where are you order from the site once you scan the code, and the food comes to you. The folks here will check in with you if you want anything as well. I bookmark this place without leaving any notes, but after looking at it, I'm pretty sure I bookmarked it because of the hainan chicken. And that's what I ordered (along with some cucumbers). The chicken here was very tasty. And that rice I felt was cooked very well. Light and fluffy with a great flavor to it. The chicken itself is served with those three sauces with the ginger scallion oil sauce being my favorite. I'm not too familiar with the area, but I don't think there are a lot of places that serve hainan chicken in the area. I could be wrong. If you are craving hainan chicken, this is definitely a great spot to check out.

I absolutely loved every single dish from this place! The service was fantastic too. Ordering through their website was super convenient, and my food arrived in no time. It was great not having to talk to a waiter, but still having them there to answer my questions and take care of my requests.

So my friend gave me a list of options and I decided to pick this spot because I want something light. Savory Corner is a small Hainan restaurant that specializes in (1) R2 Hainan chicken rice (dark meat) and (2) N1 beef brisket noodle soup (clear broth). [Parking & ordering]: Easy parking via private parking lot. To order, just pick a table and scan the QR code sign to place an order. Our party had one person placing an order so we end up splitting the bill via Venmo. Once our party submitted our order, the staff took less than 10 minutes to prepare our items.***R2 Hainan chicken rice (dark meat - $15.99): This order didn't come with a soup. Tender meat and nicely seasoned rice. I can definitely see the appeal for this dish. A2 Fried Shrimp Roll (8 pieces - $7.99): Not sure why my friend wanted to order this but it was a tiny appetizer order. Overall it was pretty mediocre.***Hainan chicken rice here is slightly more expensive than other Hainan chicken places, but portion was just right and chicken quality was great. I may actually come back here to try beef brisket noodle soup with the slow-cooked 10-hour bone broth.

What a great find! We ordered the regular and spicy beef noodle soup with egg noodle and vermicelli, respectively. Both noodles and soup base were so yummy, full of flavor. They do not skimp out on the meat, which we loved. Would definitely recommend. We also ordered the hainan chicken, which was juicy and delicious. Ordering food is through your phone, which was convenient. Service was nice and tentative. Def try this place out!

I'm so glad I found this restaurant in a little strip mall with quite a few other food choices, north side of Fullerton road. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the interior is very cute. I only had one dish but intend to return.Had a chicken noodle soup with Hainan chicken and I chose egg noodles (rice noodles are available), which were delightfully long and thin. They provide 3 dipping sauces for the chicken, I loved the slightly sweet soy sauce and kept going back to it, but the ginger scallion is super delicious, and the zingy orange is fun. Maybe the soup is the one they call hand shredded and was boneless breast; there is also chicken bone-on available. They have a 12 hour beef brisket soup I must try. And Wonton.I'm interested to try other things on the small menu. (I'm looking at you, crispy fried shrimp rollups). While I think the chicken could have been more tender, it was definitely nice and I enjoyed the very clean and not too salty flavor of the soup. The staff is so nice and kindly set me up with 'to go' materials for the half I couldn't eat, generously giving extra broth and to go sauces. The broth was nicely gelled overnight, super nutritious as well!

Great place for Hainan Chicken. You can order dark meat only as well as an option. They have great wonton noodles and beef noodle soup. I enjoy their chrysanthemum tea as well.Parking: Plentiful parking, it's in a large plaza.
