The experience is nice. Food is adequate, not too exceptional. The ingredients used were very high quality.

Really good omakase, probably the best one in North OC area. Lunch omakase is about $160 for 15 courses. The staff and chef were very attentive. It is reservation only and there's only 9 seats. The ambiance is nice and the restaurant and bathroom smell like hinoki.

Top omakase lunch experience

The food is top-quality, featuring fresh ingredients and innovative cooking techniques, but it is definitely on the pricey side…. It’s fun to watch the chefs prepare the dishes right in front of you. The small, quiet setting makes it ideal for a romantic date, though it’s not the best choice if you’re seeking a lively atmosphere to eat and chat.

The food is overall salty for the price, and I know that basically omakase is made right in front of you, but here it seems to be made in advance and they just set it up, and the chef is Korean.
I've been to many places, but the $70 corkage fee seems a bit expensive, and it seems too expensive for the quality. I wish they would reduce the quantity and improve the quality.

Great omakase experience. Limited seating so you need a reservation. Great presentation and a lot of interesting dishes. They brought out the live crab to show us, as well as presented the wagyu beef. Great value for what you get. Enjoyed all the dishes. Would definitely return!

The ingredients are fresh, the boss is very nice, and the service is good. The taste is also good. If you like Japanese food, you can come and try it.

If you’re looking for an extraordinary omakase experience, look no further. Every element here is a masterclass in precision and thoughtfulness. Chef Yuen curates a menu that highlights the freshest seasonal fish, with each course feeling like a work of art—not just in flavor, but in presentation.

The attention to detail is what sets this place apart. Chef Yuen goes out of his way to ensure everything is perfect, even placing the sushi with care because I’m left-handed. It’s these small, personal touches that elevate the experience beyond just a meal.

The sake selection is also top-tier, and I highly recommend the "Gokujo no Kire" – it pairs beautifully with the expertly crafted dishes.

From the intimate ambiance to the unforgettable food, this omakase experience is second to none. I’ll be a customer for life!

Totally worth eating. Every dish is incredible. They use high quality food, have thoughtful process and beautiful craft. I do miss when they were $75 per person during covid.

Made a reservation online and got there 10 min before we started. You’ll be waiting outside till they call your name/party. You’ll then be guided to your seats.Water/tea is served to you and you’ll be waiting about 15 min for the experience to begin.I wasn’t sure how many courses as it was my birthday gift. Since it was my birthday, I did get a complimentary cheesecake in the very end with a birthday song.Food: it was a very nice experience. They say what you’re eating before serving it to you. Uni, crab, wagyu, tuna, fruits, theyll explain and show you where it’s from! It’s very interesting to know where my food is coming from. They were all delicious! 10/10 for all!Chefs: they were very nice and we interacted by talking a bit about personal life as well as the food that were being served to us.Price: it’s high but I’d recommend to try once. 2 people = $600+ (including tip)

Parking: very easy! It’s in a plaza so you’ll be fine!

A feast to the eyes and for the palate.

However, the whole omakase felt a bit rushed because there was a train of people standing behind us waiting to be seated for the next appointed timeslots.

Also, they said it's 10 sushi but it's really like 7 because there's an appetizer that was more like a small plate of Hawaiian poke, a miso soup side dish and a green tea ice cream dessert at the end.

Other than that, good experience though.
