Bad service all around, I ordered through the phone a 2 burritos, 2 tacos, one quesadilla and a Chile Verde plate.went in, they didn't talk to me at all. Finally they did and i paid, I asked for 12 salsas and they wanted to charge me 5.00 extra dollars, they said I only get 5 with my food. Ummm I ordered 6 items total 2 of them are burritos. Whatever, we also asked for limes and they gave us 2 whole limes lol huh? How lazy are you?

Very welcoming environment. Staff is very kind, attentive and helpful. Was excited to try this place bc of all the great reviews. The chilaquiles were a little too tangy and the eggs were over hard- I wanted over easy. The rice and beans were good. The taquitos were okay but needed a little more seasoning. The guac was good as I like it simply made. The desserts were plain except for the capirotada. It's served warm so it made it even better. Sweet and soft with raisins and nuts. Overall a decent experience but good could you some seasoning other then salt.

Okay, updating my review and bumping up my personal score. From my previous visit, it was on the very cusp anyway, but on my most recent visit, I was really just soaking up the vibe and atmosphere. I conversed with the folks a little more this time around. Not that it was that different, if at all, but just felt a more family warmth vibe here this time with the friendly service and space. This time around, I got the carne en su jugo, which was the special of the day for this visit. The bowl was so comforting, especially with the cold weather we've been having recently in Southern California. The flavors were just so amazing and it definitely had a kick to it. The limes, onions, and cilantro were all very fresh and of course I loved the fluffy fresh tortillas. Definitely a spot I would love to come back time and time again.
