Closest thing to New York bagels! I love their breakfast bagels and the delicious spreads. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, i love the broadway posters, and the service is always friendly♥️

The food was fresh. It was good and reasonably priced. The bagels had a lot of flavor and the place was really clean.

One of the best bagels I have ever had! Delicious!

The service was alright and quick, but the coffee is not good. Me and my family ordered 3 lattes all different and they taste like warm milk. Different flavors too. The bagels were good but I would rather go to the Starbucks down the street even though I try to support local businesses. The bagels were good but were like any other regular bagels so just go to Starbucks.

The best bagels and staff is very friendly.

Very impressive bagels and lox. The coffee is ok but really lacks personality. Main gripe is the service which ranges from nonchalant to plain disinterested in the customer experience. The attitude of “I’m doing you a favor by actually being here” is unacceptable. Don’t know if it is pervasive but on my visit it was more than own team member.

I came in on a Wednesday afternoon and I absolutely loved the vibe. It was dimly lit, good music playing and I received outstanding service from Amani.

She’s so warm, kind and helpful. I couldn’t decide what I wanted because everything sounds so good.

On her advice, I ordered and everything bagel club and added red onions and ooooooo mmmmmmm it was sooo good. Fresh, aesthetically pleasing and also just great flavor.

Also, the bagel chips are so, so good. I plan to use them for hummus and lebni dip. Fragrant, nice crisp, and delicious. I highly recommend.

The Chinese chicken salad is simple and what I love about it is the generous amount of dressing.

Will come back for a light lunch any day.

Kudos to great food, service and atmosphere.

The bengals taste well. The serve needs improvement. I am always impressed with the service from the Claremont village. All have fantastic customer service. But this place, not quite. The employees are just so discourteous with me every time I go in. It got to point where I just don’t want to come in, and I have decided to get a food elsewhere. I feel that these employees received zero training. And if they did there throwing the business owner under the buss with this service.

By far the best bagels in town !!!

Fresh bagels and good flavored 🍓 cream cheese.
Do not buy extra salsa. For 2 quarter size containers. It cost $2.30!?! That is so rude.

The bagels are below average and they are very expensive, even for a bagel shop. But it's the only bagel shop in the area.

::: UPDATE :::
I decided to update my review after eating a few bites of pumpernickel bagel. It was disappointing enough to throw in the trash. Costco's bagels are better and one quarter of the price at 42nd Street Bagel...seriously. It's rare to find a place that cheats you out of your hard earned money and leaves you angry with yourself for getting taken so badly. Shame on you 42nd Street Bagel for being a definitive rip off and selling crappy bagels.

I have been cooking food, professionally and casually for over 30 years of my life and I would be hard-pressed to make as good of a bagel breakfast sandwich as they do here. It was absolutely phenomenal. Enjoyed every last bite and the price was right.
