This place was unbelievable. We just moved to Claremont and picked this place based on the photos. We had Sarah as a server and she was wonderful. We came at a very busy time and still got seated in five minutes with a choice of tables. Everything we ordered was phenomenal and obviously the goat cheese lollipops are mandatory. We ordered the duck and filet mignon and they were absolutely perfect. We're already planning our return trip.
The service is as good as their cocktails. This will be the high point of your visit. The menu and food are decent, and one can see the effort they make; but, like other restaurants in the area, Bardot reaches beyond its grasp. If it’s between this place and Union on Yale, by all means have a cocktail at each (the Bardot’s being better given that their servers will make superior recommendations).
