Cafe X2O, Claremont

I originally found this place on TikTok and had to check it out — and I’m glad I did. The reviews were right on point. They offer a lunch special Monday–Friday from 11 AM to 4 PM for $12.99, which is an amazing deal. It includes your choice of a grilled chicken kebab or a falafel vegan plate, plus a fountain drink or iced tea.

I’ve tried both plates on different occasions, and each one was great. The chicken kebab was tender and flavorful, served with salad, rice, pita, and garlic sauce. The falafel plate was just as good — fresh, crispy falafel with generous sides.

The staff has been friendly every time I’ve visited, the food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. Definitely recommend Cafe X2O!

So glad we stopped at Cafe X2O, we had a delightful time over an excellent meal!
Everyone was very welcoming, warm, & kind. Our waiter, Isa, was such delight.
Standouts from our meal included:
-The rice (some of the best we’ve had in a restaurant in a long time!)
-Hummus (“Sublime” as my friend called it)
-Fantastic chicken (perfect spice level & very juicy)
-Both of friends really liked the Jallab.
-My friend enjoyed the pairing of the white coconut tea with the Ashta dessert, saying it was the perfect way for them close out their meal.

Absolutely love the food! Very fresh and staff is always kind! Love love the Claremont location but not the La Verne location as there’s hookah smoking happening there and it’s pretty unpleasant trying to breathe. We’ll keep supporting the Claremont location!

I ordered the chicken breast kebab plate with sautéed spinach, roasted veggies, and spicy hummus — and every bite was incredible. The chicken was perfectly grilled and full of flavor, the veggies were beautifully roasted, and that spicy hummus had just the right kick. You can tell everything is made fresh and with care.

The ambiance is super chill — relaxed, comfortable, and perfect for a casual meal or catching up with friends. What really stood out, though, was the service. Every staff member was kind, attentive, and genuinely made the experience feel welcoming from start to finish.

If you’re looking for great Mediterranean-style food, warm hospitality, and an easygoing vibe, Cafe X2O is a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back!

Had the chicken special with a hummus appetizer. There is indoor/outdoor seating both are clean lovely atmosphere.
I love to find classic Mediterranean style food and this was definitely delicious. The hummus was creamy and fresh. The meal itself was generous portions, authentic.

I've been a loyal customer of X2O for a long time and have built a solid rapport with them, so it's incredibly frustrating that they've now moved all their ordering to an online-only system. While I understand that they're trying to prevent orders from being placed and then not picked up, this blanket policy feels impersonal and unnecessary for long-time customers who have consistently supported their business.

It’s ridiculous that despite having proven reliability and dedication to their business, I’m now forced into the same rigid process as a brand-new customer. It feels like they're punishing loyal clients who have always followed through with their orders.

Overall, this change has made what used to be a simple, trusted process into a hassle. There should be some consideration for those of us who've consistently provided them with business. I hope they rethink this decision.

Delicious and healthy food. Great portions and well priced. They offer plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly service and overall good vibes. Went for lunch and enjoyed the chicken kebab with hummus, rice and fries!
Also, there’s a public parking lot conveniently located right behind the restaurant.

Love the ambience. It was so chill - I stopped by after having a busy morning of running around and it was the perfect place to have lunch and wind down. Food was delicious & so fresh. Customer service was on point.
This restaurant is one I will definitely be coming back to.

Newer place on Indian Hill around the corner from the packing district building. Lots of free parking in the municipal parking structure. Thank you, City of Claremont. Pleasant, airy place. Very good service. The servers are fun and pleasant. Food is Lebanese style of Mediterranean. Lots of grilled stuff, nicely done. I had the lamb chops which were terrific! They were marinated and grilled. Generously there were 4 chops instead of the more usual 3. Reminded me of the lamb chops I used to get at Aristo Cafe in Palos Verde. Rice was a bit al dente for us. Hummus was good, as was the garlic sauce. Pita was good and generous. My wife had the chicken shawerma which was good, and our friend had the lamb kabob, which looked good and was less expensive than the chops, but those chops...

I got the Falafel Wrap this was amazing. This does not come in a Pita its wrapped in a flat bread. The Falafel here has a great taste to it and it very crispy on the outside soft on warm on the inside. Atmosphere is great as well if you can sit out in the nice great place to eat for lunch

I asked by phone to advance the food and when we arrived we sat down, there were not many people, there were 10 people to celebrate my birthday, they told us that it was only for pick-up and that we could not eat there, the truth is we left disappointed in the attention and lack of judgment to handle the situation
