Claremont Village Eatery is delish! I've only ever gotten the breakfast burritos, but will be sure to try other things in the future.
Today, we got the Claremont Loop Burrito (no onion) and the Rhino Burrito. Both were great, and big enough to save half for lunch. Service was simple but kind. Inside the restaurant isn't too crowded, plenty of room to move around, and nice air flow.
Also, huge shout out for their chairs. They seem really thoughtfully chosen. Although they look like they might be the standard uncomfortable metal stacking chairs so many restaurants have these days, they are a nice size, don't cut into your hips, and they slide in and out really nicely (no loud metal screech!) It seems like such a simple thing, but being able to sit comfortably while you eat your meal is so nice!
I've also catered a large order of their breakfast burritos for my work and they were a hit! Definitely a great option if you need a hearty breakfast before a big event.
Food is overpriced for slop that’s served. Food is edible to say the least. Couple of college kids cooking on what looks like a plug in flat grill. I didn’t buy this item, but $19 for an avocado toast is crazy. Coffee was meh. Everything about this place is meh. For the $$ they charge I was expecting something better than Denny’s but dennys would have been a way better option. Do not go here. It sucks.
Love coming here! Service is so friendly and food homemade and delicious. There are seasonal specials which is cool. Located in downtown Claremont near the Farmer's Market, it makes a nice morning for breakfast and boutique shopping !
Such a delicious gem in the village! Love everything here— yummy chicken panini and side salad
The food is absolutely wonderful and so is the staff. I especially love their Spring menu every year, but even their regular menu items are good. Fair price for the amount of food and the quality of the food is top notch. I always make it a point to come here when I'm in the area.
An easy going place to go, food is very yummy, perfect place to yap it up with a friend
Always courteous, welcoming. And food is delicious. Thank you!
Great Service and Friendly

I ordered the Claremont Harvest Salad and it was basically ALL cheese. It was honestly an obomination of a salad. There was cold grilled tomatoes and squash with like a pound of cheese topped on. I have no idea who thought this was a good idea. Other then that the guy who took our order seemed nice. Atmosphere was really nice too.

I genuinely cannot believe a business like this exists in Claremont. Not too long ago, I ordered an avocado toast and it was moldy. The bread was clearly picked at, meaning they noticed the mold and picked it off but seemed to have missed a spot. Couldn’t even bring myself to rectify the situation with them, because the owner clearly lacks enough integrity to serve non expired food. I don’t blame the staff, I’m sure they’re encouraged to use everything they have regardless of quality. I noticed a blonde middle aged woman behind the counter who seemed unbothered with working and incredibly bossy towards the staff, it was very disheartening to see.

Never again. My family was in the restaurant business my entire life and I know service and quality. The food was average. The service was terrible.
Absolutely I get busy but the service was really bad. We ordered at 11 and our food came at 11:50. Yes, they were extremely busy but then maybe stop taking orders if you can’t accommodate folks. I ordered a beef dip and it was just ok.
I won’t be back.

This is a great little spot! The food is great, they don't use seed oils and the customer service is great, check it out. Is pretty expensive tho.

Got the saddest excuse of a “deconstructed” avocado toast, with cheap bread and so much grilled cheese it didn’t fit into the plate. Stingy with the avocado too.
My partner got a breakfast burrito, VERY oily and bland.
Service is fine, they scream at you to give you your food
Coffee is okay!
Overall a disappointment, especially with the price that comes with it.
