Picked up a cake for my moms birthday from here since I've heard nothing but good things.. the cake was awful. Chocolate butter cream should've been delicious but I'm guessing it was an old cake because the layered buttercream was like I was eating cold, hard chocolate butter. I let it sit at room temperature because I thought maybe it had a weird texture due to it being in the fridge, but to no avail, it was still a terrible cake. I also picked up a loaf of their banana walnut bread and it was very dry. Maybe I'll give them another shot but who knows

First time visit, I am very impressed. I went for the sourdough bread, but found out they are more than that. The fresh sweet and coffee is amazing. This will be my to go spot for sure!!

I called the store to see whether they were selling round challah for Rosh Hashana. I sent a message by email. No answer so I went down. This was my second time there and there was a line. When I got to the front, I was told they did not bake round Challah for the holiday Monday night since they were closed on Sunday and Monday, which I knew. I was willing to freeze the bread but alas, there was no bread for the holiday to buy. Nor was there a honey cake. I bought a bag of 7 shortbread cookies which cost 10$ for 7 of them. They were average tasting and expensive.

We live here in Claremont and Creme is the BEST bakery around. I get custom cakes made there, buy all kinds of pastries for events and family gatherings and the sandwiches are exceptional. You can't beat the service, Erica, the owner is very kind and helpful. LOVE Creme!!!!

Tried for the first time and purchase almost every pastry for a work event. Of what I tried it was ok. A little overcooked for my preference. The orange scone was the best of all I sampled. The blueberry muffin too sweet and oddly dense. Everyone raved about the croissants. Again a little overcooked for me. Service was fast and amazing! I love the bakery atmosphere too. Definitely worth giving it a try and I'll return for sure for the scone.
