We were staying in Claremont for my grandma's celebration of life. We ended up eating lunch here Friday and dinner on Saturday. Food was excellent both times. Friday our server was Eric and he was our bartender while we waited for our table on Saturday. Both bartenders, our server and the hostess were all excellent and made it an even better experience. Would definitely go here again the next time I'm in town.

My grandson came down from LA today and we went to Eureka for lunch. I’m 79 years old and it was noisy outside but not inside. We got seated right away. The food was very good. I gave my grandson French the french fries which I had a couple and then I had a grilled chicken sandwich which was delicious. Our waiter Andre was the BEST!!!! He was attentive, made sure we enjoyed our night, made recommendations, answered questions and was just a great guy. He did drop ranch which we shrugged off. He apologized and we let home know we were fine. It did fall on our pants but hey it’s an accident. However the table next to us complained. The women told some manager in a plaid shirt her father would need dry cleaning and that they needed to cover it. The plaid shirt guy said he would take care of them. I just found it odd that management was aware we were the table that bore most of the mess yet the other table was as compensated. Again not our waiter faults but I think management needs to be aware on how to handle situations. Plaid shirt guy if you check on one table and offer “ to take care of them” I think the least you can do is check on the other people impacted.lDK if it because the people who complained were Caucasian but I will say our table wasn’t.
Again great food. Great waiter. Just poor call by plaid guy management for only checking on one table and not the other.

The lady with curly hair and glasses that’s in the bar gave the worst service out of any place I’ve been in years. Place is nice, service is trash and 12 dollars for a house salad that is 6 dollars on the menu is screwed!
