I really enjoy the menu, past and present. It's a must-try, especially when they have wine released days.
As wine club members, we look forward to all their offerings.
It does get busy at dinner, but I feel that is an indication of how the surrounding community around loves this place. Cheers.
I was very disappointed with our visit to Grafted Cellars Winery today. My husband and I have been going there recently and usually enjoy the board with assorted cheeses, which has always been a great choice. Today, however, I decided to try the Ahi Tuna, and it turned out to be the worst I’ve ever had.
The tuna was dry, completely unseasoned, and mixed with diced tomatoes—a combination that, in my opinion, did not work at all. To make matters worse, the dish had a strong fishy odor that was quite unpleasant. I shared my feedback with the waitress, who kindly brought us an orange-flavored sauce, but unfortunately, it did not improve the dish.
Overall, the experience was very disappointing. I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon for food. Thankfully, the wine was good—that was the one redeeming part of the visit.
I go to grafted cellars on Tuesdays and Fridays and I think they're one of the best additions to the Claremont village in the last few years. All the staff is extremely friendly and provide wonderful service. One of my favorite wines is the peony rose. And their burger is the best surprise that nobody expected.
I recently went to Grafted Cellars and had such a great time! The food and drinks were amazing and the staff itself made the entire visit amazing. We had an extremely attentive waiter named Elizabeth. She was amazing and helpful when deciding what to order. Elizabeth made sure that we were comfortable and that we had everything we needed. Our server and the rest of the workers definitely added to the welcoming and relaxing vibe of the place. My only regret is not taking any photos of the great food and ambiance. Will definitely be returning in the future!
Grafted has become one of our go-to places in Claremont. The wines and beer are great, a little something for everyone. The food is delicious (try the pickle pizza, seriously, it works). What keeps us coming back on the regular though is the staff. They are amazing. They always greet everyone with a smile and try to go above and beyond to make your visit enjoyable. Whether you're a first timer or a regular, they treat you ĺike an old friend.
I am utterly disappointed by my experience at Grafted Cellars. Sunday night (9/14), I went with my girlfriend and her friend for her 21st birthday and had reasonable expectations for food, wine and service — The ball was dropped at almost every point during the night. The food arrived almost an hour after ordering, which is completely unacceptable for a cheese board, salad and mussels. If it didn’t come so late, on paper plates and with unprofessional service, maybe it could have been better disguised, yet it was all mediocre at best. I had to go inside to speak with the bartender multiple times about about our food, the fact a drink never came, getting the adequate amount of silverware, etc, though I will say he was more helpful than our server, who never circled back during the course of the dinner to check on anything, even when our drinks had clearly been finished for a while and our food had not arrived. However, it seemed like she was happy to continue opening bottles for the older Claremont crowd, of which she was highly attentive to. Please note that it was not at all busy and there were only a handful of tables seated. Everyone in my party felt agist undertones during the entire experience, which is not a great feeling to leave customers sitting with, especially in a college town.
I would also like to add that I’m not a Karen - I engaged firmly but respectfully during this entire encounter. I’m a college student who has been rubbed so wrong by my experience at Grafted Cellars that I would be remised if I did not share it. If you want shitty service, overpriced food, and run of the mill wine, this might be the place for you. If not, I would never recommend this establishment and I will never be returning. My Uno Tre Otto reservation is booked for Friday and I’m excited to spend my money at a respectable restaurant.
Started coming here close to when it first opened and have had great experiences ever since! Every single person who works here is super friendly! Definitely stop by to try for yourself!
Grafted is the most amazing wine tasting bar!!!! The staff is so professional and yummy!!! They make everyone feel so special!!! The wine and food is so delicious. Congratulations Whitney and Ryan -the owner operators for having such a great business!!!
Home away from home. Ali, Omar, Kelly, et al are amazing!!! Always great service, always great wine!!!
Wonderful location and service! We brought our union members here for a meeting/evening out and we couldn’t be more delighted! So glad Claremont has a location like this in the Village! They accommodated our group of 20+ very well: water, wine, and food was all delivered with promptness and grace. By the way, the hot pepperoni pizza and rosé of cab are both delicious!

Great food, super place to hang out, and the beer is amazing!!!! And they don't use single use plastic! This place is a gem!
Just had a private event at Grafted and could not have gone better than expected! Whitney was so great to work with and accommodating along the way and execution of the event was flawless on all fronts. Don't look anywhere else if you're thinking of hosting a private event in the area!
