I got the courageous latte, it wasn't bad, not really what I was expecting but the flavors all work well together.

Long wait for drinks but worth the wait. I waited about 26 mins of being in line and receiving my drink. I ordered the Courageous Iced and it was so smooth. Wish it came in larger sizes. The ambiance is hipster and trendy. I went here on a Thursday morning around 8:15am. They have indoor and outdoor tables. It was busy and luckily an outside table was available.

Courageous: 4.5/5 (smooth and perfect sweetness)

Honestly, the coffee here is very average—there’s nothing unique about it, so it’s not worth standing in line for. What’s more disappointing is the service. The staff come across as unfriendly and even arrogant, as if long lines are something to be proud of. Instead of making improvements to give customers a better experience, they seem content with letting people wait just to create the illusion of popularity. If you’re looking for great coffee and good service, this is not the place.

All too late for the harassment.

Went here with my wife and daughter, and the first thing we saw was the line. It was straight-up Disneyland status. We thought there was an event going on we were unaware of but people in line told us it’s always like this, but worth it. So we waited a good 35 minutes, and honestly, they weren’t lying.

We grabbed two iced affirmation lattes: Worthy (brown sugar, vanilla, figs, and black pepper) and Courageous (bourbon, brown sugar, organic cream, and pink salt). The Worthy is smooth and a little less sweet, while the Courageous has more punch and depth. Both were excellent. In fact, they affirmed my belief that I’ll be back. ;)

Inside was lively. They even had a DJ spinning music, but don’t expect to find a seat unless you’re lucky. It doesn’t really matter though; downtown Claremont has plenty of spots to sit outside the Packing House, or you can just stroll with your drinks.

Food-wise, we split a breakfast burrito (solid choice) and got my daughter a croissant, which she gave the official two thumbs up.

Shoutout to the staff, too. Despite the long lines, they had smiles on their faces and were kind to everyone that I could see.

Long story short: yes, I’d wait in that line again. Iron & Kin isn’t just serving coffee, they’re serving an experience and it lives up to the hype.

Favorite coffee in the area made by true artisans and coffee pros. Line was out the door and worth every minute of waiting!

Nice place to relax and have coffee. But theres no was no where to sit because theres to many people that take up the space to be on their laptops.

Fantastic pourover. And fantastic service. If I wasn’t in such a hurry, I’d have added photos :)
In town from NYC for a college tour and wondered whether I’d find a great pourover spot - I did! The servers were knowledgeable and care about every detail and patient! Didn’t have any food so didn’t rate but the pastries looked amazing.

Came here to get the matcha. It's a super cute place and really nice, but the Matcha is pretty terrible. Very grassy taste and is almost grainy as well. They don't make it right there; they have it in a shake bottle that they mix with some milk. Prices are reasonable, but I just wish it were better quality matcha. Hopefully the espresso is better, cause otherwise a very cute place.
