Suuuper tasty ramen. Very flavorful and I felt like the portions were very good. I got the tonkotsu ramen spicy level 6 and it was actually spicy just how I like it. You can choose a spice level that ranges from 1-10. I think I found my new ramen spot!

The noodles ? you definitely can tell it's handmade it's differentiated with other ramen ? I like the food not instant ramen noodles with the hot fresh menkoyi broth soup that's kind bring me home.it's just like your grandma use long to stir and boiled to make it taste well.

Menkoi Ramen House in Claremont, CA, stands out as a gem for ramen enthusiasts, offering an authentic taste of Japan in the heart of the city. Upon entering, guests are greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere and the delicious aroma of simmering broth, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. The menu features a variety of ramen options, each with its unique broth that's been carefully simmered to achieve a deep, complex flavor profile. The noodles are consistently cooked to perfection—springy and just the right texture to complement the rich broth. Toppings like succulent chashu pork, green onions, seasoned egg, and bamboo shoots are generous and add layers of flavor and texture to each bowl.Menkoi Ramen doesn't just stop at ramen; their side dishes, including gyoza and rice bowls, are equally satisfying, making it hard to decide what to order. The staff's friendliness and efficiency contribute to an enjoyable dining experience, always ensuring that guests feel welcomed and well taken care of. Whether you're a ramen aficionado or new to this culinary delight, Menkoi Ramen House offers an authentic taste of Japan that's both comforting and delicious. A visit here promises not just a meal but an experience that will leave you wanting to return.

When Menkoi Ya Ramen first opened, I went at least once a week. Over the past year, there has been a significant decline in the service, food, and cleanliness of this place. I always want too support this small business but the last four times I have come here/ordered out, the service has been awful and my order has had an issue. Yesterday the server flat out lied to me when I asked if what I ordered was what I received. To be clear: I ordered the ONLY thing I ever get there - the spicy chasu pork broth. What I received was vegetable broth with pork in it. When I finally flagged her down (she never checked on us once), I explained to her that I ordered the spicy chasu. Instead of apologizing and making a nearly $18 thing of ramen right, she proceeded to go over to the computer, pull up the order, look at it and then bring me spicy sauce so I could fix HER mistake. I was like, "Wait this is the same broth, you just add this?" She assured me they did.It still did not taste right.Oh the reason why? Because she ordered it with vegetable broth which is what it said on my receipt that she crossed out and wrote “spicy” on with pen. SHE WROTE ON IT WITH A PEN. Ha ha ha like after the fact. When I said “hey I asked for the pork spicy chasu and told you it wasn’t correct,” she just shrugged and said “sorry.”I wish I was jokingI live three blocks from this restaurant, have my office in the village and always try to support our local businesses but this was the last straw. I am amazed they are still open at this point..

I just the had the worst customer service here today. I didn't even eat I wasn't given a menu and asked in a very rude was what do you want to drink. I said ok I don't appreciate your tone. Server addressed me will you don't have to eat here if you don't want to. Wow truly unprofessional I don't know how this place stays in business. Ok will never come here again.

It was so yummy! So I happened upon this spot one day when I was running uber eats deliveries, its a side gig of mine. And as I love food never happier than when I find new places to try. A lil place thats located in the village, its charming, and most importantly delish. As its ramen prices are low. With most bowls starting about 12 bucks. I happily added extras like a soft boiled egg, garlic and ginger and red chili, heat is on a scale from 1-10 I chose 5, good choice because that sucker was spicy. And I love spicy, not complaining. But level 10 spicy shoot I don't think I am ready. Anyway I only spent 19 bucks plus tip. Don't forget to tip. Why would you. I had the shoyu vegetarian ramen. Definite winner, gonna try the miso one next time. Sweet server, clean restaurant, will be a repeat customer.

So we came here on a whim walking around downtown Claremont. We were not disappointed! Food was so flavorful. The appetizers were such a good start to what was to come. Our food was so flavorful and fresh. We had Ramen and Bowls (see pictures). Will definitely be back.

The ramen was luke warm with cold toppings also some toppings were left out. Also, the service was awful! Our table was dirty and the server was rude, she didn't want to serve us tea, because of how long it would take her. My friend and I asked another person there (possibly the manager) for tea and he said it would be 15 minutes. Well after 15 minutes she never brought it out to us. Despite never receiving tea we were charged for tea. So we asked for the tea to go and she said it would take too long and that she was the one who was making it. She claimed that she refunded us, but gave us a print out copy of our original receipt. I wanted to speak to the manager in person, but my friend was too embarrassed to. I tried to call the store when I got home, but they did not pick up.I suggest to go to the sushi place on the same street. They have ramen and good service!
